영유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 놀이신념과 정서 표현성이 놀이 참여 태도에 미치는 영향 (The effects of mothers with toddlers and children on their play beliefs and emotional expressiveness on their attitudes towards play participation)

초록

목적 본 연구는 영유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 배경 변인과 놀이신념, 정서 표현성이 놀이 참여 태도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 놀이참여자인 어머니의 놀이 참여 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 근거로 부모교육의 기초자료를 제시하는 데 연구목적을 둔다.
방법 연구목적에 따라, 영유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니를 연구 대상으로 선정하였다. 서울과 경기지역에 있는 육아종합지원센터의 프로그램을 이용하는 어머니들에게 연구 취지와 방법을 설명하고, 자율적으로 참여한 254명의 설문자료를 연구자료로 활용하였다. 연구자료는 SPSS 프로그램 23.0을 통해 기술통계, 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석, t 검정, F 검정, 위계적 중다회귀분석을 통해 분석을 실시하였다.
결과 어머니의 배경 변인인 취업상태와 자녀 수는 통계적으로 놀이신념과 정서 표현, 놀이 참여 태도 하위요인별로 유의미한 집단간 차이 및 상관관계를 보였다. 놀이신념과 정서 표현성, 놀이 참여 태도도 하위요인별로 정적, 부적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 어머니의 놀이신념 중 하위요인인 참여적 놀이신념과 정서 표현성 중 긍정 정서 표현성은 놀이 참여 태도 중 민감하게 놀기, 반응적놀기, 즐겁게 놀기에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 어머니의 긍정 정서 표현성은 어머니의 놀이 참여 태도에 영향을미치는 요인으로 나타나, 어머니의 긍정 정서가 놀이 행동에 반영될 수 있음을 시사하였다.
결론 어머니의 취업상태와 가정 내 자녀 수는 어머니의 놀이신념과 놀이 참여 태도와 관련이 있으므로, 부모교육에서는 어머니의배경 변인을 고려한 맞춤형 교육이 다양하게 이루어질 필요가 있다. 또한, 영유아의 놀이 지원을 위한 가정환경으로서 어머니의 긍정정서 표현을 지원하는 직접적인 지원방안이 요구된다.

영어초록

Objectives The purposes of this study investigates the impact of background variables, play beliefs, and emo tional expressiveness of mothers with children in infancy and toddler hood on the play participation attitude, and provides basic data for parent education based on factors that affect the play participation attitude of mothers who are play participants.
Methods According to the purpose of the study, mothers with infants and toddlers were selected as subjects for the study. The purpose and method of the study were explained to mothers who used the programs of the child care support centers in Seoul and Gyeonggi area, and the questionnaire data of 254 people who participated au tonomously were used as research data. Research data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, t-test, F test, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis through the SPSS pro gram 23.0.
Results the mother's background variables, employment status and number of children, showed statistically sig nificant inter-group differences and correlations for each sub-factor of play beliefs, emotional expression, and play participation attitude, and play beliefs, emotional expression, and play participation attitude also showed sub-factors. It was found that there were positive and negative correlations for each factor. In addition, the sub-factors of the mother's play beliefs, participatory play beliefs and positive emotional expressiveness among emotional expressiveness, were found to have an influence on sensitive play, responsive play and enjoyable play among play participation attitudes. In particular, the mother's positive emotional expressiveness appeared as a factor influencing the mother's attitude toward play participation, suggesting that the mother's positive emotions could be reflected in play behavior.
Conclusions Since the mother's employment status and the number of children in the home are related to the mother's play beliefs and attitude toward play participation, it is necessary to provide a variety of customized edu cation that takes into account the mother's background variables in parent education. In addition, as a home envi ronment to support play for infants and young children, direct support measures to support mothers' positive emotional expression are required.
