취약청소년의 자립준비도 분석 - 두드림 프로그램 참여자를 중심으로 - (An Analysis on the Independent Living Readiness Level of the Vulnerable Youth - Based on Participants in the Do Dream Program -)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 취약청소년의 자립준비 수준을 객관적으로 평가하여 대상 유형별 자립준비 프로그램 개입방법에 대한 시사점을 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 2014년 두드림 프로그램에 참여한 취약청소년 5,109명의 자립준비도 조사 자료를 분석하였으며, 측정도구는 7가지 하위영역으로 구성된 자립준비도 척도를 사용하였다. 자료분석방법으로 기술통계분석, t검정, 단일변량 분산분석(ANOVA), 사후검증(Scheffe test)을 실시하여 취약청소년의 인구사회학적 특성별 자립준비도의 차이를 비교하였다.
연구결과, 첫째, 참여자의 성별, 연령별 특성에 따라 자립준비도에 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 남자가 여자보다, 고연령집단이 저연령집단보다 자립준비도가 높았다. 둘째, 참여자의 학업상태별 자립준비도에서는 학교 밖 청소년이 학교부적응 청소년에 비해 자립준비도가 유의하게 낮았다. 셋째, 참여자 소속집단별 자립준비도에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 소속집단별 자립준비도는 아동복지시설, 소년원 청소년이 상대적으로 높았으며, 쉼터/미혼모시설, 미인가 대안학교, 학교부적응 청소년이 낮았다. 연구결과를 통해 몇 가지 후속연구를 제안하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to discuss implication about the intervention method by subject types of independent living readiness program by objectively evaluating the independent living readiness level of the vulnerable youth. For this study, the independent living readiness level measured data of 5,109 vulnerable youth who participated in Do Dream Program in 2014 were analyzed, and the measurement tool was used the independent living readiness scale composed of 7 sub-factors. Descriptive statistics analysis, t-test, analysis of variance(ANOVA), Scheffè test were performed as data analysis method, that way compared differences in the independent living readiness level of vulnerable youth according to their socio-demographic characteristic.
The results of the study are as follows. First, there were significant differences in the independent living readiness level of the participants according to gender and age characteristics. The independent living readiness level of male was higher than female, and the independent living readiness level of older group was higher than younger group. Second, as for the independent living readiness level of the participants by their schooling status, out-of-school youth were significantly lower than maladjusted school students. Third, there were significant differences in independent living readiness level by participant group type. As for independent living readiness level by participant group type, adolescents in child welfare facilities and reformatory were relatively higher than adolescents in shelter, unmarried mothers' facilities, unauthorized alternative school, and maladjusted school students. The implications were drawn based on these findings.
