한국 아이돌 산업의 불공정 계약 관계에 대한 다층적 실태 연구 (A Multilayer Study on the Unfair Contract Relationship in the Korean Idol Industry)

초록

본 글에서는 한국 아이돌 산업에서의 불공정 계약 관계에 대한 다층적 실태 연구를 시행했다. 이를 위해, 기존의 연구에서 다루어지지 않았던 기획사, 음반사, 방송사, 팬덤 등의 다층적인 행위자들의 상호관계를 분석했다. 연구 결과, 아이돌 산업 내에서는 기획사, 아이돌, 방송사, 투자자, 소비자라는 다층적인 행위자들이 존재하며, 이들 간의 계약 관계에서 불공정성이 지속해서 발생하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 불공정 계약 관계는 아이돌 산업의 발전을 저해하고, 연습생과 신인 연예인들의 이익을 침해하는 문제를 야기하고 있음을 분석했다. 본 글에서는 대중음악산업 내 다층적인 행위자들의 상호관계에 의해 불공정 계약 관계가 어떻게 나타나는지를 분석했다. 이러한 문제는 크게 장기 전속 계약, 과도한 노동 강도, 사생활 통제, 폭행 및 성추행 등으로 나타났다. 이러한 문제들은 아이돌 산업의 발전을 저해하고, 연습생과 신인 연예인들의 이익을 침해하는 문제로 작용하고 있다. 이를 통해, 아이돌 산업 내에서 다층적인 행위자들이 존재하며, 이들 간의 계약 관계에서 불공정성이 지속해서 발생하고 있음을 확인했다. 이 글에서는 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위한 개선 방안을 제시했다. 이를 위해, 아이돌 산업 내에서의 계약 관계를 개선하고, 연습생과 신인 연예인들의 이익을 보호하기 위한 법적 규제가 필요하다는 것과 대항 헤게모니를 형성해야 한다는 결과를 도출하였다. 이러한 개선 방안을 통해, 아이돌 산업의 발전과 연습생과 신인 연예인들의 이익을 보호할 수 있는 환경을 조성할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 이러한 분석 결과를 통해, 본 글에서는 아이돌 산업 내에서의 불공정 계약 관계 문제를 다층적인 관점에서 분석하였으며, 이를 해결하기 위한 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 이러한 연구 결과는 대중음악산업 내 다층적인 행위자들의 상호관계에 대한 이해를 높이고, 아이돌 산업의 발전과 연습생 및 신인 연예인들의 이익을 보호하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

영어초록

This study a multi-layered study on the unfair contractual relationship in the Korean idol industry was conducted. To this end, the interrelationships of multi-layered actors such as agencies, record companies, broadcasters, and fandom, which were not covered in previous studies, were analyzed. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that there are multi-layered actors such as agencies, idols, broadcasters, investors, and consumers in the idol industry, and unfairness continues to occur in the contractual relationship between them. It was analyzed that this unfair contractual relationship hinders the development of the idol industry and causes problems that infringe on the interests of trainees and new celebrities. This study, we analyzed how unfair contractual relationships appear due to the interrelationships of multi-layered actors in the popular music industry. These problems were largely attributed to long-term exclusive contracts, excessive labor intensity, privacy control, assault and sexual harassment. These problems hinder the development of the idol industry and are acting as problems that infringe on the interests of trainees and new celebrities. Through this, it was confirmed that there are multi-layered actors in the idol industry, and unfairness continues to occur in the contractual relationship between them. This study, improvement measures to solve these problems were proposed. To this end, it was found that legal regulations were needed to improve contractual relations within the idol industry, protect the interests of trainees and new celebrities, and to form counter hegemony. Through these improvement measures, it is expected to create an environment that can protect the development of the idol industry and the interests of trainees and new celebrities. Through these analysis results, this study, analyzed the problem of unfair contractual relations within the idol industry from a multi-layered perspective and suggested improvement measures to solve it. These findings are expected to enhance the understanding of the interrelationships of multi-layered actors in the popular music industry and contribute to the development of the idol industry and the protection of the interests of trainees and new entertainers.
