교육대학교 학생들의 발명핵심역량 연구 (A Study on the Core Inventive Competency of Students at National University of Education)

초록

이 연구는 교육대학교 학생의 발명핵심역량 수준을 측정하기 위한 것으로 조사연구에 의하여 이루어졌다. 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 교육대학교 학생들을 대상으로 발명핵심역량 조사도구 문항을 기술적 역량, 인성적 역량, 창의적 역량으로 범주화하여, 조사한 결과 교육대학교 학생들의 발명핵심역량 전체 평균은 3.45로 평균 이상을 상회하였다. 역량 영역별로는 인성적 역량 영역의 평균이 3.71로 가장 높았으며, 창의적 역량 영역의 평균 3.44, 기술적 역량 영역의 평균 3.10 순으로 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 요인별로는 융합사고능력 수준이 가장 높았고, 다음으로 자기주도성, 리더십, 의사소통 능력 순으로 높게 나타났다. 이와는 대조적으로 창의성 수준은 낮게 나타났으며, 디자인 능력, 과학기술활용 능력 수준도 낮았다. 셋째, 발명핵심역량의 영역 및 요인별 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 3가지 영역 간에 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 또한, 12개 요인 간에도 모두 양의 상관관계를 보였다.
이와 같은 연구결과에 기초하여 내린 결론은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 교육대학교 학생들의 발명핵심역량 수준은 지적인 능력에 비하면 높은 편이 아니므로 추후에는 그 수준을 향상시키기 위한 다양한 전략이 마련되어야 한다. 둘째, 발명핵심역량 일부 항목들에 대해서는 남, 녀 간에 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었으므로 교사교육에 그 차이를 반영할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 교육대학교 학생들의 교수 역량이나 일반적인 인성적 역량 수준은 보통 이상인 것으로 나타났으나, 발명과 직접 관련된 역량은 상대적으로 낮게 나타났으므로 이를 향상시키기 위한 노력이 필요하다.

영어초록

This study was conducted to investigate the level of core inventive competencies of students at the national university of education. The results of the study are summarized as follows.
First, the Core Inventory Competency items were categorized as technical competence, personal competence, and creative competency for the students of the education universities. As a result, the total average of invention competencies of the students of the education universities was 3.45 or more.
In terms of competency domains, the personality competence domain had the highest average of 3.71, the creative competence domain average of 3.44, and the technical competence domain average of 3.10.
Second, by factor, convergent thinking ability was the highest, followed by self - leadership, leadership, and communication ability. In contrast, the level of creativity was low and the level of design ability and ability to utilize science technology was low.
Third, as a result of analyzing the inventive competence area and the correlations of the factors, there was a positive correlation between the three areas. Also, there was a positive correlation between the 12 factors.
The conclusions based on these findings are as follows.
First, since the level of inventive capacity of the students of education universities is low, various strategies should be developed in order to improve the level.
Second, it is necessary to reflect differences in teacher education because it is confirmed that there are differences between men and women in some items of inventive capacity.
Third, the teaching proficiency and general personality competence of education universities are usually higher than those of general education professions. However, the competencies directly related to inventions are relatively low, so efforts should be made to improve them.
