대구지역 대학교의 글쓰기 교재 분석 － 대구대학교 글쓰기 교재의 개선방안을 중심으로 － (Writing material analysis of the universities in Daegu areas -Focused on the methods for improvement of Writing material in the Daegu University)

초록

2000년 이후 대학의 글쓰기 과정은 그 명칭에서부터 다양한 변화를 보이고 있다. ‘사고와 표현’, ‘논리적 사고와 글쓰기’, ‘생각과 글쓰기’ 등 명칭에서부터 ‘작문’을 넘어 ‘논술’로의 변환이 적극적으로 모색되고 있는 것이다. 이 변환의 과정과 병행해서 발생한 것이 교재 개편이다. 2001년도 이화여자대학교가 글쓰기 교재를 새롭게 편찬한 것을 필두로 2003년 연세대학교가 2004년 서울대, 고려대, 한양대, 경희대가 2006년에는 서울 시립대가 2007년에는 성균관대학이 그리고 2008년에는 경북대와 대구대학교가 글쓰기 교재를 새롭게 선보이고 있다. 이들 글쓰기 교재의 개편 작업은 일단 대학에서 이미 교육과정 개설이 확보되었음을 의미하는 것이기도 하다.
이처럼 글쓰기 교재 개편이 곧 글쓰기 교육과정의 전면적 개편을 대변하고 있다고 할 때, 글쓰기 교재의 개편 과정은 상당히 중요한 의미를 지니고 있다고 할 수 있다. 그러나 의외로 글쓰기 교육의 방법론에 대한 논의들이 심도 있게 분석적으로 진행되고 있는 것에 비해 글쓰기 교재 연구는 단편적인 사항을 열거하거나, 일반적인 특징을 설명하는데 그치고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 문제점들을 유념하면서 대구대학교 교재의 개선 방안을 고찰하고 있다. 분석 준거로서는 동일, 대구지역의 대학교재 두 편, 한국대학 글쓰기 교재 역사상 최초의 계열별 교재였던 영남대학교 교재와 2009년 개편, 발행된 경북대학교 교재 두 편이다. 이 두 편을 형식적 측면과 내용적 측면으로 분류, 분석한 후 이를 근거로 대구대학교 교재의 문제점 및 향후 개선 방안을 고찰해내고 있다.

영어초록

The writing process of university is having various changes after the year of 2000 from the title of it. The conversion to the ‘Discourse’ over the ‘Composition’ is actively groping from the title ‘Thinking and Expression’, ‘Logical Thinking and Writing’, ‘Thinking and Writing’ and so on.
What the publication of running parallel with the process of this conversion is the teaching material reorganization. By following the compilation of the new writing materials at first on the list by Ewha Woman’s University in 2001, Yonsei University in 2004, Seoul University, Korea University, Hanyang University, Kyunghee University in 2004, University of Seoul in 2006, Sungkyunkwan University in 2007, Kyungpook National University and Daegu University in 2008 are showing the new writing materials. These new reorganization materials of writing material mean that education curriculum is already established once in the universities.
Like this, when teaching material reorganization is act as the spokesman of fully reorganization of writing education process, reorganization process of writing material is significantly meaningful. Surprisingly, the discussion about the methodology of writing education is analytically progressed in depth; however, the study of writing material is enumerated fragmentary information and just explained the general features. This paper considers this type of problem and study the refined method of Daegu University material. The teaching materials for analyzing are two books which are the university teaching materials in area of Daegu, Youngnam University teaching material which was the first systematization teaching material in the history of writing materials at university in Korea and two teaching materials which are reorganized and published from Kyungpook National University in 2009. After classifying and analyzing on as formal aspects and semantic aspects, it considers the problems of Daegu University’s teaching materials and the methods for improvement based on the previous data.
