초록

This paper took the representative examples of the city wall park of China as target, through relevant literature and field survey, a comparative analysis was conducted and the characteristics and the development thread of the Chinese city wall park were analyzed. The investigation places are Beijing Dongbian Gate Relics Park, Beijing Imperial City Root Relics Park, Xi'an Tang City Wall Ruins Park, Xi'an Ming City Wall Park, Jinan Round City Park, Hefei Round City Park, Nanjing Ming City Wall Environs these seven outstanding city wall parks. The content of this paper included the general concept and types of city wall park in Chinese city park classification, location of city wall, status and material of city wall, status of city moat, property and layout of the site, form, layout and property of the city wall park, design principles, features, development form, function change and so on.
The results of this paper on the whole can be divided into the followings: 1. The parks all located in the city center, and all play a significant role in the urban park green land system. These seven parks all show the history of the city and the development context of the city. 2. If distinguish the city wall park according to the status of city wall, there are parks with one remnant section of ancient city wall, parks with completed preserved city wall and parks which constructed on the relics of city wall with reconstructed city wall and city moat. 3. The conservation and reconstruction method of the city wall generally used the city wall's intrinsic appearance. 4. The early function of city wall park only is preservation role for the ancient city wall but at present there is a comprehensive role of the park and green land around the city wall that is the preservation function and public park function. 5. The landscape design features in these parks, all have linear, ribbon, ring spatial form, have the showing of historic regional characteristics, the embodiment of spots on the layout are carried out along the main axis of the distribution.
According to these results, the construction of city wall park in the future should make full use of the two special elements-city wall and city moat, based on the historic, cultural locality features outline the integrity of the city wall park, and should continue to maintain such design function which combined the financial historical preservation and urban public park function used environmentally-friendly method.
