부부의 원가족건강성, 자기분화, 의사소통, 그리고 자녀의 정서지능에 대한 연속적 인과관계 분석 (The Causal Relationships among the Health of the Family of Origin, the Self-differentiation, and the Communication of the Married Couples and the Emotional Intelligence of the Children)

본 연구에서는 그동안 부분적으로만 다루어지던, 부부의 원가족의 건강성, 자기분화, 의사소통과 자녀 정서지능의 인과관계를 구조방정식모형을 이용하여 연속적이고 통합적으로 실증분석 하였다. 서울, 경기지역의 부부 50쌍과 그 자녀 50명, 총 150명을 대상으로 설문하여 자료를 수집하였고, 그 데이터를 상관분석을 포함한 기본적인 통계분석과 함께 PLS-구조방정식을 통한 인과관계 모형검증을 실시하였다. 그 결과 요인계수는 원가족건강성→자기분화(남편 0.487 vs. 아내 0.622), 자기분화→의사소통(남편 0.444 vs. 아내 0.513), 의사소통→자녀의 정서지능(남편 0.153 vs. 아내 0.278)으로 전체적으로 아내의 요인계수가 높았다. 설명력인 R-제곱에서도 자기분화(남편 0.237 vs. 아내 0.387), 의사소통능력(남편 0.444 vs. 아내 00.513) 모두 아내보다 남편이 높은 수치를 보였다. 이러한 결과에 의하면 원가족건강성, 자기분화, 결혼한 이후의 부부간 의사소통, 그리고 자녀의 정서지능이라는 3대에 걸친 인과성을 확인할 수 있었다. 이어서 본 연구의 시사점과, 한계점 및 후속연구를 위한 제안점을 논의하였다.

영어초록

In this research, the causal relationships among the health of the family of origin, the self-differentiation, and the communication of the married couples and the emotional intelligence of the children, which have been dealt with only partially until now, were empirically analyzed continually and integrally by using the structural equating model. The data were collected by surveying a total of 150 persons, including 50 married couples and their 50 children in the Seoul and Gyeonggi regions. And, regarding the data, a causal relationship model verification through a PLS-structural equation, together with the basic statistical analyses, including the correlation analyses, was carried out. As a result, regarding the factor coefficients, overall, the factor coefficients of the wives were high, including the family of origin health→the self-differentiation(Husbands-0.487 vs. wives-0.622), the self-differentiation→the communication(Husbands-0.444 vs. wives-0.513), and the communication→the emotional intelligence of the children(Husbands-0.153 vs. wives-0.278). With regard to the R-square, too, which is an explanation power, with regard to both the self- differentiation(Husbands→0.237 vs. wives-0.387) and the communication ability (Husbands→0.444 vs. wives-0.513), the husbands showed the numerical values that were higher than those of the wives. According to such results, it was able to confirm the causalities among the big 3, including the family of origin health, the self-differentiation, the communication between the married couples after marrying, and the emotional intelligence of the children. Next, the implications and the limitations of this research and the proposal points for the follow-up studies were discussed.
