장애유아 어머니의 부모역할지능 수준에 따른 양육효능감, 양육스트레스, 행복감의 차이 (Differences among Mothers of Preschoolers with Disabilities in Maternal Efficacy, Maternal Stress and Happiness according to Parental Intelligence)

초록

본 연구는 장애유아 어머니의 역할지능 수준에 따른 양육효능감, 양육스트레스, 행복감과의 차이를 알아봄으로써 장애유아 어머니의 양육역량강화를 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위함이다. 이를 위해 장애유아 어머니 300명을 대상으로 부모역할지능검사, 양육효능감 척도, 한국판 부모양육스트레스 검사, 한국 성인의 행복한 삶 척도를 이용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 최종 회수된 설문지 270부로 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 Cronbach’s α, 빈도와 백분율, ANOVA, Scheffé 사후검증, MANOVA, Box’s M값, Wilk’s lambda값으로 분석하였다. 본 연구결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애유아 어머니의 부모역할지능 수준에 따른 양육효능감은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 장애유아 어머니의 부모역할지능 수준에 따른 양육스트레스는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 장애유아 어머니의 부모역할지능 수준에 따른 행복감은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 양육역량 강화요인으로서 부모역할지능 수준을 높여줌으로써 장애유아 어머니의 양육역량을 강화시킬 필요성이 있으며 장애유아 어머니의 부모역할지능 수준에 따른 적절한 양육지원이 이루어져야 함을 시사한다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to examine any possible differences among mothers of preschoolers with disabilities according to parental intelligence in maternal efficacy, maternal stress and happiness in an effort to provide some information on how to bolster the maternal competency of mothers of young children with disabilities. The subjects in this study were 300 selected mothers of preschoolers with disabilities. A survey was conducted, and a parental intelligence test, a maternal efficacy scale, a Korean version of parental stress test and a happy life scale for Korean adults were utilized. The answer sheets from 270 respondents were gathered, and the collected data were analyzed by a statistical package SPSS 22.0. Statistical data on Cronbach alpha coefficients, frequency, percentage, Box's M values and Wilk's lambda values were obtained, and ANOVA, Scheffé post-hoc analysis and MANOVA were carried out. The findings of the study were as follows: First, as for the maternal efficacy of the mothers of preschoolers with disabilities according to parental intelligence, there were statistically significant differences in that regard according to parental intelligence. Second, regarding maternal stress according to parental intelligence, there were statistically significant differences according to parental intelligence. Third, concerning happiness according to parental intelligence, there were statistically significant differences according to parental intelligence. The findings of the study suggest that it's required to raise the parental intelligence of mothers of young children with disabilities to bolster their maternal competency, and that appropriate support should be provided for them in consideration of their parental intelligence.
