어머니 역할지능이 유아 리더십에 미치는 영향: 유아 정서지능의 매개효과 (Impact of Parental Intelligence on Early Childhood Leadership: Mediating Effect of Emotional Intelligence of Children)

초록

본 연구는 어머니의 역할지능이 유아 리더십에 미치는 영향에서 유아 정서지능의 매개효과를 검증하는데 목적을 둔 실증적 조사연구이다. 이를 위해 만 5세 유아와 유아의 어머니 각각 270명을 연구대상으로 선정하고 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도 검증, 상관관계분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 어머니의 역할지능 및 유아 정서지능은 유아 리더십에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 역할지능과 유아 리더십 간의 관계에서 유아 정서지능은 완전매개변수로서 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났고, 또한 어머니의 역할지능과 유아 리더십 하위요인 간의 관계에서도 유아 정서지능은 완전매개효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 어머니의 부모역할지능은 유아의 정서지능을 높이고 이로 인해 유아는 원내에서 바람직한 리더십을 발휘할 수 있기 때문에 어머니의 역할지능을 높이고 유아의 리더십과 정서지능을 함양 및 개발할 수 있도록 가정과 유아교육기관이 신뢰에 바탕을 둔 상호연계 프로그램을 지속적으로 수행해야 할 것이다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to verify the mediating effect of children’s emotional intelligence on the impact of parental intelligence on early childhood leadership. To achieve this, the following research questions were established: first, what is the impact of parental intelligence and child’s emotional intelligence on early childhood leadership? Second, how is the mediating effect of emotional intelligence of a child within the relationship between parental intelligence and early childhood leadership? To solve the problem, each of 270 mothers and children under 5 years of age were selected to answer the survey questions. Collected data were analyzed for frequency, reliability, correlation and multiple regression using a SPSS program and the findings were as follows: First, of the parental intelligence factors, a mother’s developmental stimulation, nursing and management had, in this order, a positive impact on the early childhood leadership, and of the emotional intelligence factors of a child, the ability to control others’ emotion, the ability to recognize others’ emotion and the ability to self-control emotion had, in this order, positive impact on the early childhood leadership. Second, within the relationship between the parental intelligence and early childhood leadership, a child’s emotional intelligence functioned as a complete parameter. Also, within the relationship between the parental intelligence and the subfactors of early childhood leadership, the mediating effect of a child’s emotional intelligence was statistically significant. Because a mother’s parental intelligence improves the child’s emotional intelligence and thereby exhibits leadership in kindergarten, it is important to enhance the mother’s parental intelligence and continue to operate correlated programs developed based on the reliance between the homes and child education centers to help children to develop emotional intelligence and leadership.
