초록

본고는 『謏聞 錄』 校勘·譯註 1에 이은 『謏聞 錄』 校勘·譯註 2이다. 교감․역주 1의 경우, 『寒皐觀外史(一)』(金鑢 編)에 『謏聞瑣錄』 권1에 해당하는 부분이 누락된 관계로 교감과 역주에 활용하지 못했으나, 본 교감․역주 2의 臺本에 해당하는 『소문쇄록』 권2는 수록되어 있기에 본 교감과 역주에 활용할 수 있었다. 이에 본 교감․역주 2에서 대본으로 삼은 5종의 『소문쇄록』은 다음과 같다. ① 李佑成 編 『謏聞 錄(外一種)』(이하 서벽외사본), ② 일본 동양문고 소장본 『謏聞 錄』(이하 동양문고본), ③ 金鑢 編 『寒皐觀外史』(이하 한고관외사본), ④ 편자 미상의 『稗林(第五輯)』(이하 패림본), ⑤ 沈魯崇 編 『靜嘉堂本 大東稗林(二十八卷)』(이하 대동패림본).
아울러 『소문쇄록』의 대본은 ①②(이하 서벽외사본 계열)와 ③④⑤(이하 한고관외사본 계열) 두 계열로 나누어진다. 본고에서는 ‘서벽외사본’ 계열 上卷의 후반부, ‘한고관외사본’ 계열로는 2권에 해당하는 기사의 字句를 교감하여 번역하고, 분명한 이해를 돕는 주석을 병기하였다. 그 과정에서 다음과 같은 결과를 얻게 되었다. 우선, 두 계열이 조금씩 다르게 단락을 구분했지만, 전체 기사의 수는 두 계열 모두 총 53개로 구성되어 있었다. 다음으로, 전체 기사를 조금 더 세분화해 보면, 記事에 해당하는 항목이 32則(서벽외사본 계열)/32則(한고관외사본 계열), 記人은 15則/16則, 記物의 경우 6則/5則이었다. 마지막으로, 敍事로 구성한 기사가 15則/13則, 敎述의 성격을 띤 기사가 38則/40則이었으며, 詩話는 모두 13則이었다.
본 교감․주석의 결과는 향후 筆記 연구는 물론, 조선 전기의 정치․경제․사회․문화를 이해하는 데에도 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

영어초록

This paper is the proofreading, translation, and commentary of Miscellaneous words and trifles(謏聞 錄) 2, following the proofreading, translation, and commentary of Miscellaneous words and trifles(謏聞 錄) 1. the proofreading, translation, and commentary of Miscellaneous words and trifles(謏聞 錄) 1, it could not be used for proofreading, translation, and commentary because the part corresponding to Volume 1 of Miscellaneous words and trifles was omitted in Hangogwanoesa(寒皐觀外史) edited and commented on by Kim, Ryeo(金鑢), but Volume 2 of Miscellaneous words and trifles, the part corresponding to translation 2, is included in Hangogwanoesa, it could be used for proofreading, translation, and commentary.
Accordingly, the five types of Miscellaneous words and trifles used as the original text in this proofreading, translation, and commentary 2 are as follows. ① Miscellaneous words and trifles edited by Lee, Woo-seong(李佑成) has beem handed down, and there is ② Miscellaneous words and trifles owned by Dongyang Bookstore in Japan. And ③ Miscellaneous words and trifles in Hangogwanoesa(寒皐觀外史) edited and commented on by Kim, Ryeo(金鑢), and ④ Miscellaneous words and trifles included in paerim(稗林), and there are ⑤ Miscellaneous words and trifles in Jeonggadangbon Daedongpaerim(靜嘉堂本 大東稗林) compiled by Sim, Ro-sung(沈魯崇).
In addition, the manuscript of Miscellaneous words and trifles is divided into two series: ①② and ③④⑤. In this way, after dividing the manuscript of Miscellaneous words and trifles into two series, the articles corresponding to the second half of the upper part of the ‘Seobyeokoejanubon’ series and the second volume of the ‘Hangogwanoesabon’ series were translated. Of course, to ensure an accurate translation, the characters were communicated prior to translation, and annotations were added to aid clear understanding.
As a result, the following results were obtained at the composition level. First of all, although the two series divided the paragraphs slightly differently, the total number of articles in both series was 53. Next, if we break down the entire article a little further, the records about events are 32 paragraphs(‘Seobyeokoejanubon’ series)/32 paragraphs(‘Hangogwanoesabon’ series), the records about people are 15/16, and the records about things are 6/5. Lastly, the articles composed of narrative description were 15/13, the articles composed of thematic description were 38/40, and the total number of note on poetry was 13 paragraphs.
The results of this proofreading, translation, and commentary of Miscellaneous words and trifles are expected to contribute to future miscellanies research as well as to understanding the politics, economy, society, and culture of the early Joseon Dynasty.
