장애학생을 위한 성(性)과 성교육에 대한 연구동향 분석(2011년∼2020년) (A Study on the Analysis of Research Trends on Sexuality and Sexual Education for Students with Disabilities(2011∼2020))

초록

본 연구는 장애학생을 위한 성(性)과 성교육의 연구동향을 알아보기 위한 목적으로, 2011년∼2020년까지 국내 학술지에 발표되었던 연구논문 18편을 선정하여 기초변인과 연구내용(성교육내용 중심)의 변인중심으로 분석하였다. 이에 따른 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기초변인 분석에 따른 결과: 연구논문들은 주로 성인식과 성적 행동관련 주제로 연구되었으며, 연구대상은 지적장애학생 및 발달장애 학생을 대상으로 한 양적 연구방법의 연구들로 나타났다.
둘째, 연구내용변인 분석에 따른 결과: 성교육은 부적절한 성(性)관련 문제행동의 감소를 목적으로 한 교육내용으로 연구되었고, 교사에 의해 주로 학교 수업 시간을 활용하여 실행된 것으로 나타났다. 또한 연구논문에서 실제적인 성교육프로그램 개발과 부모와의 연계를 통한 성교육지원이 가장 큰 요구사항으로 나타났다. 그리고 장애학생을 위한 성교육과 성폭력 예방의연계적인 연구논문들은 매우 부족한 것으로 나타나, 이에 대한 후속연구의 노력이 필요한 것으로 이해할 수 있다. 학령기의 성인식과 성태도는 이후 성인기의 인간관계에까지 영향을 미치는 중요한 시기로서, 이 시기의 올바른 성인식과 성교육 중재는 성폭력 예방에 있어서 중요한 역할을 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 장애학생을 위한 성(性)과 성교육에 대한 연구동향의 분석을 통해, 장애학생을 위한 성교육과 성폭력 예방을 위한 시사점을 제시하고, 실제적이고 질적인 성교육프로그램개발과 성교육실행방안을 마련하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to find out the research trend of sexuality and sexual education for students with disabilities, and it was conducted by analyzing basic variables and analyzing the contents of the study(centered on the content of sexual education) by variable. For this purpose, 18 research papers published in domestic journals from 2011 to 2020 were selected and analyzed. The results of this study are as follows. First, the results according to basic variable analysis: Research papers were mainly focused on adult awareness and sexual behavior related topics. And the research subjects were quantitative research methods for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Second, the results according to research content variable analysis: Sexual education was researched as educational content aimed at reducing inappropriate sexuality-related problem behaviors. And it was found that sexual education was mainly implemented by teachers using class-time.
Also, the research papers showed that the demand for sexual education support through the development of practical sexual education programs and the connection with parents was the greatest. In addition, research papers related to sexual education for students with disabilities and prevention of sexual violence are very scarce, so follow-up research efforts are needed.
Coming-of-age consciousness and sexual attitude in school age are important periods that affect human relationships in adulthood. Therefore, proper adult awareness and sexual education interventions during this period play an important role in preventing sexual violence. Therefore, this study intends to suggest implications for sexual education for students with disabilities and prevention of sexual violence through research trends on sexuality and sexual education for students with disabilities. In addition, through this study, we intend to provide the meaning and basic data for the development of practical sexual education programs and the implementation of quality sexual education.
