빅토리아 토카레바, 타티야나 톨스타야, 류드밀라 울리츠카야, 류드밀라 페트루쉡스카야 등 80년대 이후 등장한 러시아 여성작가들은 독창적인 창작세계를 이룸으로써 “다른 문학”의 흐름 안에서, 또한 “여성문학”으로서, 뚜렷한 존재감을 보여준다. 이들은 페레스트로이카와 글라스노스트의 개방 하에서 가부장제와 기성 이념에 대한 ‘전복적’ 글쓰기를 실현한 여성작가들로 평가된다. 여기서 류드밀라 페트루쉡스카야는 가장 먼저 주목된다. 페트루쉡스카야의 “체르누하”는 소외되고 버려진 이들의 실존을 재현하여 페미니즘의 “타자성”(Otherness)을 소환함으로써 “여성의(/적) 글”쓰기를 실현하는 장이 되기 때문이다. “체르누하”의 주인공들은 보이지 않았던 억압된 타자의 얼굴을, 그리고 이들의 실존적 공간은 시각적 재현 바깥의 존재론적 공간을 재현한다. 특히 페트루쉡스카야의 환상과 꿈, 기적 등 ‘다른 현실’은 일종의 상상계적 공간으로서 현대 페미니즘 비평이 역설하는 “여성의(/적) 글”쓰기를 통해 전망할 수 있는 새로운 실존방식을 여실히 보여준다.
본고에서는 단편집 『이웃의 아이를 죽이고 싶은 여자가 살았네』를 통해 “여성의(/적) 글”쓰기의 문제를 살펴보고자 한다. 특히 여기서는 엘렌 식수의 “여성적 글쓰기”(écriture feminine)의 개념들, 그리고 뤼스 이리가레의 실존적 “성차”(la différence sexuelle)의 글쓰기 개념 등을 통해 페트루쉡스카야의 “체르누하”의 페미니즘적 의미를 짚어볼 것이다.

영어초록

Russian women writers who appeared in the period of Perestroika and Glasnost of the 80s such as Victoria Tokareva, Tatiana Tolstaya, Lyudmila Ulitskaya and Lyudmila Petrushevskaya, have made the unique and distinguished creative world as one significant part of the “alternative literature” (другая литература) and as the women literature itself in Russia. They could be appreciated as the writers who have practiced the “écriture feminine” and have realized the feminist writing which was supposed to exert the ‘subversive’ power to the patriarchical and phallocentric ideology of the official literature (официальная литература).
Among these new women writers, Lyudmila Petrushevskaya showed the most remarkable model of the subversive écriture feminine. Her darkest and blackest “chernukha” (чернуха) would be the most debunking one to the fake bright world of the soviet phallogocentric official literature. Here could be found the creative significance of Petrushevskaya’s chernukha in the feminist perspective. It came to be the space of écriture feminine, representing the existence of the alienated and excluded and summoning the feminist concept of “the otherness” against the phallogocentrism concealed in the soviet totalitarian ideology. The characters of Petrushevskaya’s chernukha represent the faces of the oppressed invisible ‘others’ and the spaces of their reality “outside (visible) representation” reconstruct the existential spaces for the “others.” Especially the space of ‘other reality’ (иная реальность) which made Petrushevskaya’s “chernukha” the most darkest could be understood as the space of the ‘imaginary’ where women’s desire for writing could be satisfied.
This paper aims to analyze Lyudmila Petrushevskaya’s collection of short stories Once there lived the woman who wanted to kill the neighbor’s child (Жила- была женщина, которая хотела убить соседского ребенка) as the marvelous feminist writing in which the “écriture feminine” has been realized. Here, with regard to the problem of women’s writing of Petrushevskaya, will be discussed especially the feminist concepts from Hélène Cixous’ “écriture feminine” and Luce Irigaray’s “la différence sexuelle.”
