    초록

    In this thesis, to re-examine the various aspects and roles of women who have been through the period of the Chinese Revolution attempted to reconstruct the life of women in the Communist Party member 'Weigongzhi' who has demonstrated excellent ability in public propaganda activities. Through the life of Weigongzhi, this paper study in-depth analysis of the roles and character that women had to face at a turbulent period of revolution. In particular, it can be possible to reassess the significance of the historical situation and the major roles of women at that time by conveying the vivid lives that they admire to express in public propaganda activities.
    Weigongzhi has stood out from literature propaganda, as served a supervisor of Red Army school circle in the Central Soviet Area, a member of the comedy management committee, the director of the 8.1 theatre(8・1劇團), the vice president of Gongnong theatre(工農劇社) in the Central Soviet Area, and the president of Renminkangri theatre(人民抗日劇社).
    The Chinese Communist Party(CCP) had focused on public propaganda activities in the context of civil war for revolution and the Sino-Japanese war. The CCP's public propaganda aims to encourage the red army, convey the party's policies or instructions, and mobilize women in propaganda activities. Particularly people who came back after learned literature propaganda in the Soviet Russia actively participated in public propaganda activities, organized propaganda organizations, and took charge of actor training. In addition, the methods and contents of propaganda were constructed by contacting directly with the public.
    Weigongzhi, who devoted to the revolution through taking part in the Northern Expedition and the Guangzhou uprising, continued revolutionary life as a propaganda activist by participating in the policy conceptualising process of the CCP and the Soviet government after studying in the Soviet Russia. Weigongzhi conducted public educational activities that promoted the political ideas and policies in public through activities in the Soviet Russia and during the anti-Japanese period. According to the Communist Party(CP)'s policy of literary manoeuvre, propaganda teams and theatre companies has established in various places, and works of various forms and contents were created and directly performed.
    At that time, women mobilized in the revolutionary propaganda activities were organized as a propaganda team besides literature performing group and played a role in promoting the government's policies and mobilizing the public in various ways such as singing, theatre performance, and dance. Through this, women tried to escape from feudal bondage by themselves and move toward liberation and, from this process, they actively participated in propaganda activities to accomplish the revolution and provided their passion.
    Even when they have deprived two times of the party register, Weigongzhi did not give up life as a communist and accomplished their role as a revolutionary propaganda activity to the end. Although Weigongzhi's life has used as the object of mobilization of state power in the course of the revolution, It shows that reflects the lives of women who burned their passion and projected individual happiness and ideals into the process.
