지적장애 특수학교 미술 비전공 중등 특수교사의 미술 수업 경험과 의미 (Experience and meaning of art classes by non-art major secondary special education teachers in special schools for students with intellectual disabilities)

초록

이 연구의 목적은 미술을 전공하지 않은 중등 특수교사가 지적장애 특수학교에서 미술 수업을 담당하면서 겪게 된 미술 교과교육 경험과 그 특수교육적 의미를 알아보는 데 있다. 이를위해 서울·충남 지역의 지적장애 특수학교에서 10명의 연구참여자를 선정하여 개별 면담하였으며, 수집된 자료는 포괄적 분석 절차에 따라 분석하였다.
연구 결과는 3개의 상위범주와 8개의 하위범주, 32개의 의미단위로 구성되었다. 첫 번째 상위범주는 ‘교과교사 배정에 관한 오래된 사실’이며, 하위범주는 ‘미술 교과 배정의 실상’, ‘배려의이면’이다. 두 번째 상위범주는 ‘중등 특수교사의 미술 수업 노트’이며, 하위범주는 ‘우리가 바라는 수업 목표’, ‘넘을 수 없는 미술 교과 전문성’, ‘힘 빠지는 수업 환경’이다. 세 번째 상위범주는 ‘좋은 미술 수업을 위한 반성과 희망 사항’이며, 하위범주는 ‘미술 수업 반성’, ‘교수·학습의 기본 틀개선’, ‘특수학교 현장의 변화’이다. 이러한 연구 결과에 따라 첫째, 중등 특수교사의 표시 과목을 고려한 교과 배정, 둘째, 미술 수업 담당 중등 특수교사의 교과 전문성 확보를 위한 적극적관심과 지원 제공, 셋째, 미술실 환경개선․미술 지도서 개발․미술 교과 학습자료 개발․특수미술 전용 플랫폼 개발 등의 개선방안을 제안하였으며, 후속연구를 위해 제언하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the experiences and special educational meanings of art classes experienced by secondary special education teachers who did not art major in special schools for students with intellectual disabilities. For this purpose, the researcher selected 10 secondary special education teachers working at special schools for students with intellectual disabilities in Seoul and Chung-nam as research participants, and analyzed the data collected through individual interviews according to a comprehensive analysis procedure. The results of the study consisted of three upper categories, eight subcategories, and 32 semantic units. The first upper category is 'old facts about subject teacher allocation', and the lower categories are 'the reality of art subject allocation' and 'the other side of consideration'. The second upper category is 'Art class notes of secondary special education teachers', and the lower categories are 'class goals we want', 'art subject expertise that cannot be exceeded', and 'less difficult class environment'. The third upper category is "reflection and wishful thinking for good art classes," while the lower categories are "reflection on art classes," "improving the basic framework of teaching and learning," and "change in the field of special schools.". According to the results of these studies, first, the assignment of subjects considering the subjects marked by secondary school special teachers, second, the provision of active interest and support to secure subject expertise of secondary school special teachers in charge of art classes, and third, improvement measures such as improving the environment of the art room, developing art guides, developing learning materials for art subjects, and developing a platform for special art were proposed, and suggestions were made for follow-up research.
