초록

최근 인공지능(AI) 기술의 발전은 교육 분야 전반에 걸쳐 혁신적인 변화를 가져오고 있으며, 특히 AI 디지털교과서의 도입은 교육의 패러다임을 변화시켜 대학 교육생태계에도 영향을 미치고 있다. 본 연구는 문헌연구 방법을 통하여 2025년부터 단계적으로 시행되는 초·중등학교의 AI 디지털교과서 도입이 초래할 대학 교육생태계의 변화와 과제 탐구에 목적이 있다. AI 디지털교과서 도입의 변화를 교육 방법, 학습경험, 교수자 역할과 평가 방식을 중심으로 분석한 결과, AI 디지털교과서는 다음과 같은 변화를 초래함을 확인하였다. 첫째, 개인화 학습과 데이터 기반 교수법이 활성화되며, 학습 효율성과 학생 중심 교육이 강화된다. 둘째, 학습자의 주도성과 몰입도가 증대되며, 맞춤형 학습콘텐츠와 실시간 피드백이 이를 촉진한다. 셋째, 교수자의 역할은 데이터 분석 전문가이자 학습 코치로 변화할 것이며 실시간 평가와 개인화된 피드백 시스템을 활용한 정교한 학습 성과 측정이 가능해진다. 결과적으로 AI 디지털교과서의 도입은 대학 교육생태계를 변화하는 촉매제 역할을 한다. 따라서 AI 기반 학습으로의 전환에 대비하여 교육생태계 재정립과 역할 변화에 따른 과제를 탐구하고, AI 기반 교육의 발전이 학습자 중심의 교육 혁신으로 이어질 수 있도록 지속적인 연구와 정책적 노력이 필요하다고 제언한다. 본 연구는 대학이 교육생태계의 변화에 적극적으로 대응하고, 새로운 교육 모델을 모색하는 실천적 적용을 위한 근거를 마련하고자 하였으나 문헌 분석 중심의 탐색적 연구로써 이론적 타당성을 검증해줄 실증적 데이터가 부족하다는 한계를 지닌다. 따라서 향후 AI 디지털교과서의 효과와 영향 등을 실증적으로 다양하게 검토하는 후속 연구가 필요하다.

The recent development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology is bringing about innovative changes across the field of education, and in particular, the introduction of AI digital textbooks is changing the paradigm of education and affecting the university education ecosystem. The purpose of this study is to explore the changes and tasks of the university education ecosystem that will be brought about by the introduction of AI digital textbooks in elementary and secondary schools, which will be implemented step by step from 2025, through literature research methods. As a result of analyzing the changes in the introduction of AI digital textbooks focusing on education methods, learning experiences, instructor roles, and evaluation methods, it was confirmed that AI digital textbooks brought about the following changes. First, personalized learning and data-based teaching methods are activated, and learning efficiency and student-centered education are strengthened. Second, learner's initiative and immersion are increased, and customized learning contents and real-time feedback promote this. Third, the role of the instructor will change to a data analysis expert and learning coach, and it will be possible to measure sophisticated learning outcomes using real-time evaluation and personalized feedback systems. As a result, the introduction of AI digital textbooks serves as a catalyst for changing the university education ecosystem. Therefore, in preparation for the transition to AI-based learning, this study suggest that continuous research and policy efforts are needed to explore the challenges of the re-establishment of the educational ecosystem and changes in roles and to ensure that the development of AI-based education can lead to learner-centered educational innovation. Although this study attempted to provide a basis for practical application for universities to actively respond to changes in the educational ecosystem and seek new educational models, it has limitations that there is a lack of empirical data to verify theoretical validity through exploratory research centered on literature analysis. Therefore, a follow-up study is needed to empirically examine the effects and effects of AI digital textbooks in various ways in the future.
