비사범계 교직이수 학생들의 교육봉사활동 경험 분석 (A Study on Educational Volunteer Experiences of Pre-Service Teachers in Non-Education Major Programs)

· 연구 주제: 비사범계 학생들을 대상으로 교육봉사활동에 대한 인식과 경험을 심층적으로 탐구하여 교육봉사활동에 대한 경험을 구체적으로 조망하고, 향후 교육봉사활동 프로그램의 개선 방향을 제시하고자 한다.
· 연구 배경: 비사범계 교직이수학생들은 교육봉사활동을 통해 교직에 대한 이해와 경험을 쌓는다. 그러나 사범계 및 교육대학원에 비해 이들의 교육봉사활동에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 부족한 실정이다.
· 선행연구와의 차이점: 선행연구들은 주로 사범계 학생들 또는 교육대학원생들의 교육봉사활동을 다루고 있다. 본 연구는 비사범계 교직이수학생들의 교육봉사활동 수행에 초점을 맞추어 그들의 개인적 경험과 의미를 심층적으로 탐구한다.
· 연구방법: 10월 14일부터 10월 27일까지 2주 동안 진행되었으며, 서울, 부산, 경남의 대학에 재학 중인 5명의 대학생을 대상으로 내러티브 연구 방법을 사용해 심층 면담을 통해 자료를 수집했다. 수집된 자료는 교직과 교수 2인과 교사 경력 20년 이상의 일반 교사 2인으로부터 타당도를 확보했다.
· 연구결과: 분석 결과, 긍정적 경험, 한계 및 어려움, 활동 시간의 적절성, 개선 방안 제안으로 총 네 가지 축으로 살펴볼 수 있었다.

· Research topics: The aim is to conduct an in-depth exploration of the perceptions and experiences of educational volunteer activities among pre-service teachers in non-education major programs, specifically to provide a detailed overview of their experiences with educational volunteer activities, and to propose directions for improving future educational volunteer programs.
· Research background: Pre-service teachers in non-education major programs gain an understanding and experience of the teaching profession through educational volunteer activities. However, research on their educational volunteer activities is relatively scarce compared to that of education majors and graduate schools of education.
· Differences from prior research: Previous studies have primarily focused on the educational volunteer activities of education major students or graduate students in education. This study, however, focuses on the educational volunteer activities of pre-service teachers in non-education major programs, conducting an in-depth exploration of their personal experiences and meanings.
· Research method: The study was conducted over a two-week period from October 14 to October 27, involving five university students enrolled in universities in Seoul, Busan, and Gyeongnam. Narrative research methods were employed to collect data through in-depth interviews. The collected data was validated by two professors in the field of education and two general teachers with over 20 years of teaching experience.
· Research results: The analysis revealed four main themes, which were positive experiences, limitations and challenges, appropriateness of activity duration, and suggestions for improvement.
