발달장애인 평생교육지원체계 모형 개발 연구: 경기도 사례를 중심으로 (A Study on the Development of a Lifelong Education Support System Model for the People with Developmental Disabilities: Focused on the Case of Gyeonggi-do)

초록

이 연구에서는 지방자치단체와 장애인복지관, 기타 대학 등 8개소의 현황과 운영 사례를 분석하여 경기도 발달장애인 평생교육 지원체계 구축 모형을 제안하고자 하였다. 그 결과 성인 발달장애인의 평생교육 지원 방향은 지역사회 중심 지원, 참여자의 요구에 맞는 즉시 지원, 상호 이해와 통합 지원의 세 가지이며, 평생교육 지원의 목적은 성인 발달장애인의 요구특성에 맞게 평생교육 프로그램을 제공할 수 있도록 학령기 이후 단절된 생애주기별 기본교육과정을 지속적으로 제공하고 성인으로서의 개인적인 기호와 필요, 요구에 따른 프로그램을 제공하는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 발달장애인 평생교육 지원을 위한 체계는 크게 지역사회 내 발달장애인 평생교육 인프라 발굴 및 확충, 지역 특성에 기반한 발달장애인 평생교육과정 개발, 전문성을 갖춘 평생교육 제공인력 수급체계 구축, 그리고 컨트롤 타워로서의 장애인평생교육센터(발달장애인 평생교육 지원팀) 운영을 바탕으로 경기도 발달장애인 평생교육 지원체계 모형을 제시하였다.

영어초록

This study attempted to propose a model for establishing a lifelong education support system for the developmental disabilities in Gyeonggi-do by analyzing the current status and operation cases of eight(local governments, welfare centers for the disabled, universities, and etc).
As a result, there are three directions for supporting lifelong education for adults with developmental disabilities: community-centered support, immediate support that meets the needs of participants, and mutual understanding and integrated support. In addition the purpose of lifelong education support is to continuously provide basic curriculum for each life cycle that has been cut off after school age so that lifelong education programs can be provided according to the needs of adults with developmental disabilities. And it is to provide programs according to personal preferences, needs, and needs as adults.
Accordingly, the system for supporting lifelong education for persons with developmental disabilities is largely presented in four ways. The four are: discovering and expanding the infrastructure for lifelong education for people with developmental disabilities in the local community, developing lifelong education courses(or curriculum) for people with developmental disabilities based on regional characteristics, establishing a supply and demand system for providing lifelong education with expertise, and the lifelong education center for the disabled as a control tower(support team) operation. Based on these systems, a model of a lifelong education support system for the developmentally disabled in Gyeonggi-do was presented.
