『天符經』의 生命思想 (Cheoningoeui- the Life Idea of “Cheonbu(天符)” Philosophy)

초록

“Life” is a hot topic of 21C. As a central and general worldwide discussion for sustainable development of paradigm in civilizational and cultural histories, the value of material research on “life” is growing everyday. It is operating as the totalistic anti-idea against the innumerable ideological and cultural paradigms of old age that have existed in the previous human history. According to the creative value type, theoretic category and its thinking model on the life-idea, the philosophy of 《Cheonbugeong(天符经)》, a typical scripture of Korean philosophical history, has been given its life power and the significance in the spiritual history. In the philosophical system of 《Cheonbugeong》, the value of life existence in human and every things is expressed as the organic unification of “Natural Life,” “Social Life,” and “Transcendent Life.” Thus, the life value of 《Cheonbugeong》 philosophy can be revealed in the spirit of so-called “Samjinnon”(Three Truth Theory) of “Seong(nature)”, “Myeong(order)” and “Jeong(essence)”. This Samjinnon is reflected in the concrete reality in the unified shape of “Jindo(true way)” or “Sangdo(ordinary way)” by various life phenomena. Moreover, in this way,《Cheonbugeong》philosophy comes to contain the gradual, individual and substantial characteristics. This philosophical spirit of《Cheonbugeong》represents the ideal status for all existences and life values, and pursues the status of “Wanseon(Perfect Good)” and “Chowa l(Transcendency)” for all the life subjects. The idea and philosophy of《Cheonbugeong》have been succeeded through the long tunnel of thousand-year history and tradition, and has been defined as the basic spirit of subjective Korean culture in reality. It is necessary for this《Cheonbugeong》philosophy and the cultural paradigm of《Cheonbugeong》idea centering on the value of whole lives to be reflected as an alternative for the absurd and unreasonable phenomena of modern society where the ecological damage and the contempt on life are prevalent, endangering the human society. Furthermore, we have to realize that such an excellent idea and spirit has existed in Korean history and culture, and make efforts to enhance the peculiar cultural and ideal merits of《Cheonbugeong》philosophy.
