도서 해양레저스포츠 몰입이 관광지 이미지와 관광객 만족 및 행동의도에 미치는 영향 : 중앙아시아 유학생을 중심으로 (The Effect of Flow in Island Marine Leisure Sports on Destination Image, Tourist Satisfaction and Behavioral Intention –Focusing on Central Asian Students -)

초록

본 연구 대상은 중앙아시아 유학생인데 중앙아시아는 모든 국토가 육지이기 때문에 바다에 접한 면이 없고 섬이 없기 때문에 중앙아시아 유학생들에게는 섬에서 하는 해양레저스포츠 활동이 잊지 못할 경험이 될 것이다. 또한, 바다를 처음으로 보거나 물을 무서워하는 경우도 있을 수 있지만 중앙아시아 유학생들은 대부분 바다를 동경하며, 바다에서 즐기는 여가활동에 적극적으로 참여하고 있다. 또한 과거에는 중국, 베트남, 등 학생들이 한국으로 유학을 많이 왔지만, 현재는 중앙아시아 유학생들이 점점 증가하고 있다. 이것은 예전과는 달리 현재는 중앙아시아 국가들이 한류를 통해서 한국에 대한 인식이 좋아지고 한국으로 유학 오고 싶어하는 학생들이 증가하고 있는 자세이다. 연구를 위한 표본추출방법은 편의표본추출법을 통해서 조사 대상을 한국에 거주하고 있는 중앙아시아 유학생들을 대상으로 하였다. 설문 기간은 2022년 8월 3일부터 2022년 11월 15일까지 실시하였으며, 코로나19로 인해 비대면 방법으로 카카오톡, 이메일 등 온라인 매체를 통해 실시하였다. 설문지를 전송하기 전에 미리 도서 지역에서 해양레저스포츠를 경험한 사실이 있는지 여부를 확인 후 유경험자만을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 설문에 대한 응답은 리커트 5점 척도로 측정하였고, 배포설문지는 268부였으며, 기한 내 회신이 오지 않거나 답변이 불성실한 8부를 제외한 총 260부를 분석에 활용하였다. 수집된 자료의 통계처리는 SPSS 24.0을 활용하여 자료 분석을 실시하였다. 요인분석 결과 도서 해양레저스포츠 몰입, 관광지 이미지, 관광객 만족, 행동의도는 단일차원으로 구성되어 분석되었다. 가설검증 결과 첫째, 도서 해양레저스포츠 몰입은 관광지 이미지와 관광객 만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 이러한 결과는 도서 해양레저스포츠 몰입이 관광지의 이미지를 긍정적으로 변화시키고, 만족도 역시 높일 수 있는 매우 중요한 결과를 보여주고 있다. 둘째, 관광지 이미지는 만족과 행동의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 이러한 결과는 누구나 관광지를 선택하게 된다면 먼저 그 지역의 이미지를 궁금해 하고, 인터넷이나 주위 사람들에게 그 지역에 대해서 물어보고 탐색하여 이미지가 좋으면 그 다음에 방문하게 될 것이다. 셋째, 만족은 행동의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 이러한 결과는 관광지 이미지가 좋고 관광객들이 방문 후에 만족해야 행동의도를 긍정적으로 결정하게 된다는 것이다. 이러한 의미있는 연구임에도 불구하고 본 연구는 중앙아시아 국가에 거주하는 사람들을 대상으로 하지 않고 한국에 거주하고 있는 중앙아시아 유학생들을 대상으로 조사하였기 때문에 중앙아시아 국민의 의견이라고 할 수는 없으며, 다양한 국가의 유학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 하지 못한 한계점이 존재한다. 향후 연구의 표본을 바다를 접하지 않고 있는 중앙아시아 국가의 유학생과 바다를 접하고 있는 다른 국가 중국, 일본, 베트남 등의 유학생들을 대상으로 한 비교연구도 필요하다.

영어초록

The subjects of this study are students from Central Asia. Since all of Central Asia is land, there is no side to the sea and there are no islands, so marine leisure sports activities on islands will be an unforgettable experience for Central Asian students. In addition, although there may be cases where you see the sea for the first time or are afraid of water, most of the Central Asian students long for the sea and actively participate in leisure activities enjoyed by the sea. Also, in the past, many students from China, Vietnam, etc. came to Korea to study, but now the number of students studying in Central Asia is increasing. Unlike in the past, Central Asian countries now have a better understanding of Korea through the Korean Wave, and an increasing number of students want to study in Korea. The sampling method for the study was a convenience sampling method, and the subjects of the survey were Central Asian students living in Korea. The survey period was conducted from August 3, 2022 to November 15, 2022, and was conducted through online media such as Kakao Talk and e-mail as a non-face-to-face method due to COVID-19. Before sending the questionnaire, it was confirmed whether there was any experience of marine leisure sports in the island area in advance, and only those who had experience were surveyed.
Responses to the questionnaire were measured on a 5-point Likert scale, and 268 copies of the questionnaire were distributed. A total of 260 copies were used for analysis, excluding 8 copies for which no reply was received within the deadline or insincere. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 24.0 for statistical processing of the collected data. As a result of factor analysis, immersion in island marine leisure sports, tourist destination image, tourist satisfaction, and behavioral intention were analyzed as a single dimension.
As a result of hypothesis verification, first, it was investigated that immersion in marine leisure sports on islands has a significant effect on the image of tourist destinations and tourist satisfaction. These results show very important results that immersion in island marine leisure sports can positively change the image of a tourist destination and increase satisfaction. Second, it was investigated that the image of a tourist destination has a significant effect on satisfaction and action intention. These results show that if anyone chooses a tourist destination, they first wonder about the image of the area, ask the Internet or people around them about the area, and if the image is good, they will visit it next. Third, satisfaction was found to have a significant effect on behavioral intention. These results indicate that the tourist destination image is good and the tourists decide their behavioral intention positively only when they are satisfied after visiting.
Despite such a meaningful study, this study cannot be said to be the opinions of Central Asian people because the research was conducted on Central Asian students living in Korea, not on people residing in Central Asian countries. There is a limitation of not being able to conduct a survey targeting international students. Comparative research is also needed for future studies on students from Central Asian countries that do not have access to the sea and students from other countries that do not have access to the sea, such as China, Japan, and Vietnam.
