초록

This study attempts to evaluate the importance and performance of health tourism selection attributes and deduce implication to practician in the hospitality industry. Samples used for the sake of the study are composed of Chinese, Japanese, Russian, American who have experienced health tourism between September 19, 2015 and October 1, 2015. The total size of the sample was 369 and there was no missing value against the factors needed for final analysis as an effective sample. SPSS 18.0 version for window was used to analyze the collected data on which descriptive statistics, factor analysis, and IPA were carried out. Consequently, this study deduces that total 22 out of 31 attributes have significant difference between importance and performance The mean of importance is 5.08 in which safe is the most important attribute followed by stability of medical skills. Whereas, the mean of performance is 4.84 in which safe is the most satisfied attribute followed by sanitation and medical skills as well. The results of this study have practical implication that identifying selection attributes of health tourism between importance and performance would provide practician crucial data which health tourists indeed want and get satisfied with respectively.
