몽골 테렐지 관광지 관광자원 매력에 관한 몽․한 관광객 만족도 비교 분석 (A Comparison of the Overall Satisfaction of the Tourist Attractions at the Terelj Tourist Area in Mongolia by Mongolian and Korean Travelers)

초록

본 연구는 몽골 및 한국 관광객들을 대상으로 테렐지 관광지의 매력요인을 살펴봄으로써, 관광객들이 선호하는 관광지 활성화를 위한 방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 분석방법으로 SPSS 20.0 통계프로그램과 IPA 기법을 활용하였으며, 본 연구 결과와 시사점은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 관광객들이 지각하는 매력속성에 대한 중요도와 만족도에 대한 기술분석을 하였는데 몽골(중요도 4.145, 만족도 3.292)과 한국(중요도 3.96, 만족도 3.231) 관광객 모두 관광지 방문 전의 기대보다는 그 만족도가 낮은 것으로 평가되었다.
둘째, 매력속성에 대해 몽골과 한국 관광객 차이분석 결과, 중요도는 문화자원, 음식, 프로그램의 다양함, 축제이벤트, 주차시설 등 5개 항목, 만족도는 자연경관, 음식, 프로그램의 다양함 등 3개의 항목에서만 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 관광지 매력속성의 강․약점을 파악하기 위해 IPA 분석을 실시하였다. 결과는 제II사분면인 높은 중요도에 비해 낮은 만족도를 나타내는 항목으로 몽골인은 교통편, 청결위생, 프로그램의 다양함, 주차시설 등을, 한국인은 관광지 안전성, 숙박시설, 교통의 편의성, 청결 위생 등을 테렐지 관광지 주요 약점으로 지각하고 있었다. 마지막으로 몽골과 한국 관광객들의 테렐지 관광지에 대한 만족도 및 행동의도를 분석하였으며, 몽골 관광객들 경우, 지역자원성과 편의환경성은 전체 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 한국 관광객들의 경우, 지역자원성은 관광지 선택 결정에 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 사료되었다.
본 연구의 결과에 의하면 테렐지 관광지는 자연경관의 가치를 보존하고 관리하면서, 자연활용형 상품 개발, 교통의 편리성, 숙박시설 편리, 청결 위생 등을 개선한다면 다른 지역과 차별화된 매력 있는 관광지로서, 관광객들의 욕구를 만족시킬 수 있다고 판단되었다.

영어초록

The aim of this study was to reveal the advantages and disadvantages of Terelj Mongolian National Park based on the impressions of foreign and domestic travelers, and subsequently suggest supporting ideas to make this tourist attraction more enjoyable for travelers. A statistical program(SPSS 20.0) and an IPA matrix method were used to reveal the impressions of travelers and the results showed the following ideas.
First, we made the technical analyses to demonstrate the characteristics of the current natural scenery which travelers want to see and the results indicated that both Korean and Mongolian travelers overall were not satisfied and the Park was not as they had imagined.
The second part of the research highlighted the differences between the impressions held by Mongolian and Korean travelers, which showed dissimilarities in cultural resources, food, variety of events, cultural functions and parking, all of which were shown as important criteria in sightseeing. The variations were found in scenes of nature, variety of programs, and food, areas which revealed and were very important in the overall satisfaction of travelers.
Third, the IPA method was used for analyze the advantages and disadvantages of Terelj National Park. The Mongolian travelers nominated the width of the road, cleanliness, variety of events and parking are the most essential things to feel satisfied, but Koreans selected safety of travel, accommodation, the width of the road and cleanliness. Finally, we analyzed the feelings of the travelers at the end of their trip. The Mongolian travelers preferred the area resource and environment convenience to feel satisfaction. For Korean travelers, the area resource is the most important when choosing travelling sights.
Based on these results, if we take responsibility to protect the beauty of nature, and create a sightseeing place using natural sources, while also making more comfortable accommodations and improving the services, it can be a more unique place than others and lead to greater overall satisfaction for travelers.
