초록

The purpose of this study is to suggest development plans for Wondong Maehwa Festival in Yangsan city. This study is based on the result of visitors’ evaluation of satisfaction on the festival and many implications were provided through authors academic point of view. The festival was held from March 17 to March 18 in 2018 and both quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis were conducted.
The main implications are in first, It is necessary to adjust the time between programs. In second, the organizer’s efforts to fine exact flowering time is needed.
The flowering time of the plum was not right this year and caused visitors’ dissatisfaction. In third, It may be necessary to organize and develop a program that matches the Maehwa festival. The consistency of the theme and program content of the festival is very important on the perspective of visitors because this allows visitors to feel the festival’s expertise and understand the purpose of festival. In final, more convenience facilities such as portable restroom, bench, nursing home should be provided during festival due to the long distance between entrance of festival and the main stage.
