本稿は黒澤明の≪野良犬≫にとって、映画作家がどのように原作小説を台本に再構築し、これを映画撮影時にどのように処理するかということに関する探求であった。考察の結果をまとめると次のようになる。第一に、小説から台本、台本から映画に転換される際、場所、小物･衣装などで小さな違いが確認される。これは撮影現場の条件およびストーリーの蓋然性を強化しようとしたためと判断される。第二に、小説と台本のストーリーの位置が変わった例は、他の小説を映画化した場合に比べて、その例が非常に少なかった。映画を前提にした同じ監督が書いた小説であったという点が最も大きな原因だと判断される。第三に、追跡シーケンスと都市の風俗を扱うシーケンスに関してであるが、どちらの場合も小説の簡単な記述に比べて台本では様々な場所のシーンに増補·細分化されている。映画撮影段階では、追跡シーケンスは登場人物の焦りと事件の緊迫感を高め、風俗を扱うシーケンスは観客に強い印象と生々しい現場感を感じさせ、戦後の混乱と複雑な心理状態を伝えている。第五に、人物造形と主題に関連した場面に関してだが、小説に比べて台本·映画ではお銀、ハルミ、遊佐をより立体的な人物造形を試みている。

영어초록

This article was an exploration of Akira Kurosawa's ≪Stray Dog≫ about how the movie writer reconstructs the original novel into a script and how to handle it during filming a movie. The results of the consideration are summarized as follows. First, small differences are confirmed in places, accessories, and costumes when changing from novels to scripts and scripts to movies. This is judged to be due to an attempt to strengthen the conditions of the shooting site and the probability of the story. Second, there were very few examples of changes in the locations of the novel and the script's story compared to the case of making other novels into movies. The biggest reason is that it was written by the same director on the premise of the movie. Third, regarding the tracking sequence and the sequence dealing with urban customs, both cases are augmented and subdivided into scenes from various places in the script compared to the simple description of the novel. In the film shooting stage, the tracking sequence increases the character's impatience and the urgency of the incident, and the sequence dealing with manners and customs gives the audience a strong impression and a vivid sense of the scene, conveying the confusion and complicated psychological state after World War II. Fifthly, regarding scenes related to character shaping and subject matter, compared to novels, the script and movies try to shape Ogin, Harumi, and Yusa as more three-dimensional characters.
