유아교사의 다문화교육태도에 대한관련변인들 간 구조분석 (A structural analysis on Early Childhood Teacher's Multicultural Education Attitude related variables)

초록

본 연구는 유아교육기관 교사의 다문화 교육태도의 관련변인인 다문화소양, 다문화 교육내용, 다문화 교수효능감이 어떤 경로를 통해 다문화 교육태도에 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 관련 선행연구를 토대로, 이들 변인들이 다문화 교육태도에 미치는 영향을 구조분석을 통해 검증하고자 하였다. 뿐만 아니라 다문화 교육내용과 다문화 교수효능감이 다문화 소양과 다문화 교육태도의 관계를 매개하는지에 대한 매개효과를 검증하고자 서울, 경기지역 유아교육기관 교사190명을 대상으로 무선표집하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS19.0과 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 구조방정식모델을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 다문화소양은 다문화교육내용과 다문화 교수효능감을 매개로 다문화교육태도에 의미있는 영향을 보였으며, 이들 매개변인의 효과를 살펴보면 다문화교수효능감이 다문화교육내용보다 다문화교육태도에 상대적으로 높은 매개효과를 가진 것으로 나타났다.

영어초록

This study attempts to incorporate integrative analysis, which clarifies structural relationship among early childhood teachers' multicultural literacy, multicultural education contents, multicultural teaching efficacy and Multicultural Education Attitude. Thus, The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationships among different Variables related to multicultural education 220 early childhood teacher's residing in Seoul, GyeongGi-do completed questionnaires about multicultural literacy, multicultural educational contents, multicultural teaching efficacy, multicultural education attitude perceived by early childhood teacher. Thus, the following are research questions that were established for the research objective. First, is the mediating effect of multicultural education contents significant among early childhood teacher's multicultural literacy, teaching efficacy, attitude toward multicultural education? Second, is the mediating effect of multicultural teaching efficacy significant among early childhood teacher's multicultural literacy, education contents, attitude toward multicultural education? A variance matrix of this sample was analyzed using AMOS 19.0, and the maximum likelihood minimization function. The goodness of fit was evaluated via RMR, RMSEA with a 90% confidence interval, CFI, and TLI. The next step was to verify the more definite mediating effect among variables and for this, a Sobel test were carried out. The results were as follows: First, teacher's multicultural literacy was found to have a significant direct and indirect effect on teacher's multicultural education attitude. Second, teacher's multicultural literacy was found to have a significant direct multicultural educational contents and multicultural teaching efficacy. Third, multicultural educational contents and multicultural teaching efficacy was found to have a significant direct effect on teacher's multicultural education attitude. In conclusion, the variables, which were suggested in this study, namely, multicultural literacy, multicultural educational contents and multicultural teaching efficacy could be confirmed to have significant influence on early childhood teacher's multicultural education attitude.
