초록

춘추시대는 서주 중심의 정치세계의 붕괴로 시작된 정치적 아노미 상태에서 새로운 정치공동체가 나아가야할 바를‘매우 혼란스럽게’찾아가는 시대였다. 춘추시대의 정치세계에서 통치엘리트와 피지배층 모두가 도덕적 타락과 같은 제 가치의 혼선을 겪고 있었고, 이전 서주의 정치가 결코 경험하지 못했던 새로운 정치적 시도들이 무질서하게 퍼져있었다. 그렇기 때문에 정치사상이라는 섬세한 사유보다는 좀 더 거칠고 조악하지만 실제적인 정치적 사유가 진행되어 왔다. 이러한 정치적 사유는 실제 정치현실에서 정치를 담당했던 이들에 의해 구사되었기 때문에 정치세계와의 직접성은 이후 등장하는
정치사상보다 더 강하다고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 정치적 사유는 정치행위자의 수만큼 다양하면서 무질서하게 보여지고 있으나, 전국시대에 가까워지는 시기로 가면서 覇로 대표되는‘효용성이 중시되는 통치중심의 정치적 사유’와 규범성을 지닌 禮政의 단초적인 정치적 사유’로 대분되어 진다. 그런데 춘추시대의 정치적 사유 지형에 이 두 개의 사유만이 충돌과 긴장상태를 유지하여온 것은 아니다. 때로는 어느 한 정치적 사유의 일방적 승리이기 보다는 오히려 반인문중심적 정치적 사유와 행동, 그리고 勢와 術중심의 정치적 사유들과의 긴장과 충돌이 보이기도 했다. 춘추시대의 이러한 정치적 사유들은
정치의 실제적 속성을 그대로 대변해 주고 있다. 춘추시대가 갖는 중요성은 바로 서주의 전통적 정치관과 전국시대에 대체적으로 마련된 정치관간 흐름의 과정을 보여 주며, 전국시대 이후에 마련된 정치에 대한 반성의 기회를 제시한다는 점이다. 춘추시대가 한편으로‘혼란한 상황’이라고 말할 수 있겠지만, 다른 한편으로는 다양한 시도들이 이루어진‘열린 상황’이라고 말할 수 있다. 춘추시대의 정치는 아직도 진행 중인 정치이다.

영어초록

The Spring and Autumn period was the one that the way of establishment of the newly political
community was very chaotically found in the state of political anomie commenced with the collapse of Western Zhou’s political world and its view. Both the ruling and the ruled in that period had undergone the mess of all values such as moral corruption. And disorderly pervaded was the newly political trial both that included the political experience of western Zhou and that had never been undergone before. Therefore the political way of thinking becoming rougher and cruder but more realistic had been developing rather than had the delicate way of thinking called as political thought. Because this political way of thinking had been commanded by the political actor undertook the governing in real politics, the intensify of the directness with political world is mightier than that of the political thought occurred after the Spring and Autumn period. This poltical way of thinking seems to be diversity as much as the numbers of political actors and it seems to be more or less difficult to clearly calssify it, but
near to Warrior-State period can be divided governing-centered political way of thinking attached significan to utility, which represents as Ba(覇) and the lizheng(禮政)-based political way of thingking, which combines li(禮) and min(民), averting the orientation toward the scale of politics. However these two political way of thinking had not only existed with the maintenance of the state of conflict or tension. Other way of political thinkig such as tatic and naked power-centered political way of thinkig had also co-existed with them, and found their own way to justify their own significance in real politics.
All of them show the nature of real politics in the Spring and Autumn period. The significance of that period can be found in showing the steady flow of the way of political thinking to Warrior-State period, and in suggesting the mirror of the self-reflection of politics arranged after Warrior-Sate period. On the one hand the Spring and Autumn period can be defined as chaotic, on the other hand, as opend to all possible political trials. The politics of that period is onward.
