장애인의 관광활동 유형별 자기지각 삶의 질 비교: 청각장애인과 지체장애인 비교 (Comparison attempts to the type of tourism activities: self-perception Quality of life of on hearing-impaired and Physical Disabilities persons)

초록

관광이라는 문화는 라이프스타일(Life Style)을 넘어 Mass tourism의 시대에 왔다고 하지만 Popular tourism 의 시대에 있다고 볼 수 있다. 때문에 그 동안 사회적으로 소외되었던 장애인의 관광활동에도 관심을 돌리고 있고, 다양한 관광활동 프로그램들도 생겨나고 있으며 장애인들의 참여와 관심도 높아지고 있다. 하지만 관광활동 유형별 비교나 장애유형별 비교와 같이 장애인들에 대한 보다 세분화된 연구의 필요성에 본 연구에서는 관광활동유형별 청각장애인과 지체장애인의 자기지각 삶의 질을 비교해보고자 하였으며 그리하여 아래의 5가지 사실을 확인할 수 있었다.
첫째, 자연/생태관광활동유형에서는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았지만 지체장애인들은 자신의 삶에 대한 성취와 관련된 항목에서 높은 삶의 질을 나타내었고, 청각장애인들은 현재 자기자신에 대한 존중 면에서 높은 삶의 질을 나타내었다.
둘째, 역사/문화관광활동 유형에서는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았지만 청각장애인들이 지식적 욕구의 충족으로 인한 심리적 만족이 삶에 질에 높게 반영되는 것으로 사료된다.
셋째, 산업/사회관광활동 유형에서는 청각장애인이 자아존중적 삶의 질이 높은 것으로 나타났으며 이는 장애인들의 경제활동과 구직에 대한 관심도가 높게 나타난 것으로 사료된다.
넷째, 위락관광활동유형에서는 전반적으로 삶의 질에 대한 평가가 낮게 나타났다.
다섯째, 농촌/체험관광활동 유형에서는 청각장애인이 자아존중적 삶의 질이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 신체의 활용을 요하는 축제나 체험활동들에 청각장애인들의 참여도와 체험의 경험들이 지체장애인들보다 높기 때문인 것으로 사료되며 지체장애인들을 위한 접근성 확보와 체험과 경험할 수 있는 프로그램의 개발의 필요성이 나타난다.
본 연구는 관광활동유형별 청각장애인과 지체장애인의 자기지각 삶의 질의 차이만을 비교한 것으로 다양한 지체장애인의 유형들을 구분하지 못하고, 청각장애인의 설문문항에 대한 이해력 부족을 배제할 수 없으므로 차후에는 보다 세분화되고, 장애인관련 전문가 참여를 통한 심도 있는 연구결과를 기대한다.

영어초록

Generally, the tourism culture which is went over the Life Style and arrived in Mass tourism time but actually stands at Popular tourism time. So Persons convert their interest to tourism activities of Disabled Persons who are neglected socially in the mean time and make various tourism activities, so that participation and interest of Disabled Persons comes to be high. But the necessity of the research which is subdivided in Disabled Persons like a type of tourism activities comparison or trouble comparison attempts to compare the type of the tourism activities - self-perception about the Quality of life on hearing-impaired person and Persons with Physical Disabilities. So we found our five facts as follows.
1st, the statistical considered difference didn't find from type of natural/ecology tourism activities but hearing-impaired persons reflect the high Quality of life on a related achievement category in their(one's) life and Persons with Physical Disabilities reflect the high Quality of life on the respect side at the current one's own self.
2nd, the statistical considered difference didn't find from the type of history/culture tourism activities but psychological satisfaction by sufficiency of knowledge wants is considered that is reflected high in Quality of life to hearing-impaired persons.
3rd, in type of industry/social tourism activities, there is described high self-perception Quality of life at hearing-impaired persons and it can be considered by economy activity and interest in job-hunting of hearing-impaired persons.
4th, in the type of leisure tourism activities, generally, the valuation of similar Quality of life is described low numerical value.
5th, in type of farm experience tourism activities, Quality of life of hearing-impaired persons is described high. It is considered why participation rates and experiences of hearing-impaired persons are higher than Persons with Physical Disabilities at festivals or experience activities which are needed body action. And It is also described the necessity of development of the program that is able to experience and the confirmed accessibility for.
But this study is just compared with own perception Quality of lifestyle between Persons with Physical Disabilities and, so it can't be distinguished various type of Persons with Physical Disabilities and exclude the lack of understanding of hearing- impaired persons at the question. Consequently after this study, it is expected the depth study consequence through the more accurate divided section and participated specialists who is related the disabled.
