하이데거와 메를로－퐁티의 타자성 －‘시적 폭력’의 극복과 재건을 위한 고찰－ (The ‘Other’ness in M. Heidegger and M. Merleau-Ponty - a study for reconstructing of the poetical violence -)

초록

모더니즘과 리얼리즘의 ‘인식론적 초월’에 매달렸던 우리시대의 시인(혹은 작가)들은 ‘존재론적 초월’을 통해 ‘시적 폭력’의 ‘극복’과 ‘재건’을 실현하려 했다. 이 경우, 극복과 재건은 ‘인식론적 초월의 단절’과 ‘존재론적 초월의 복구’에 각각 상응한다. 문학과 사회의 관계를 헤아리고 보면, 시는 ‘일상이 품고 있는 현실’의 진리를 드러냄으로써 현실의 가상인 소외된 일상의 친숙성을 깨며 억압의 기재들을 부단히 치우는 ‘해방의 무기’일 수 있어야 한다. 그러기 위해선 시가 우선은 일상에 대한 폭력이되, <‘일상이 품고 있는 현실의 진리’에 대한 폭로와 ‘일상의 어떤 야만’에 대한 공격이 아닌 ‘일상 저편의 진리’에 대한 누설과 ‘일상의 존재자체’에 대한 파괴로 추락했던 인식론적 초월>의 ‘부정적인 폭력’을 극복해야 한다. 시가 일상에 내려진 야만의 폭력에 대한 ‘정당한 폭력’, 즉 “반(Anti)폭력”으로서의 ‘시적 폭력’을 ‘자신 내부에 은폐된 존재론적 초월’의 복구로써 재건하며 모더니즘과 리얼리즘을 능가하는 ‘비판’ 혹은 ‘혁명’의 미학을 취할 수 있는 것은 그 극복 이후의 일이다. 이 글은 하이데거와 메를로－퐁티의 현상학에 함축된 <‘시의 초월’을 통한 ‘시적 폭력’의 ‘극복’과 ‘재건’의 방향>을 ‘타자’성의 척도로써 ‘비교/평가’하며, 모더니즘과 리얼리즘 이후의 가능한 시(혹은 문학)의 ‘정치성’을 메를로－퐁티의 입장에서 고찰했다.

영어초록

Many poets of our time who conform to an epistemological transcendence of modernism and of realism attempt to realize the overcoming and reconstructing of the poetical violence through an ontological transcendence. In this case the overcoming and the reconstructing correspond separately to the severing of an epistemological transcendence from the poetical violence and to the restoring of an ontological transcendence to the poetical violence. For the relations between literature and society, a poem have to be as an weapon which by means of revealing the truth of reality included in everyday attacks the familiarity of the alienated everyday, that is to say the phenomenon of reality, and then draws the time of freedom.
In order to be so, a poem first of all must do violence to everyday and at the same time have to overcome the negative violence of an epistemological transcendence which because of doing not violence to a everyday’s barbarous and of doing not discloses the truth included in everyday falls into leaking a truth of the life beyond and therefore into destroying everyday itself. After the negative violence was overcome, it can be actualized that a poem reconstructs the legitimate violence to everyday’s barbarous, that is to say the poetical violence as anti-violence, through the restoration of the ontological transcendence which has been forgotten in poetry itself as a possibility and that a poem obtains critical or revolutionary aesthetics surpass that of modernism and realism. Comparing in setting up the ‘other’ness[die Anderheit/l’altérité] as a measure the direction of the overcoming and of the constructing in M. Merleau—Ponty’s phenomenology with those of M. Heidegger’s one, this paper points out by side of the former poetry’s[or literature’s, and further more art’s] possible political function that should be come after that of modernism and of realism on that compare.
