사개송도치부법의 복식부기에 관한 연구 (A Study on Double Entry Book-Keeping System of Songdo Accounting System)

초록

부기란 재무거래를 기록하기 위한 공식적이고 조직화된 체계이다. 즉 실체에 속해 있는 재화, 채권, 채무등의 증감변화와 그 원인을 일정한 우너리에 따라 분류, 집계하여 장부에 기록, 계산, 정리하고 그 결과를 명백히 하기 위한 조직적 방법이라는 것이다. 부기는 단식부기와 복식부기로 나눈다. 복식부기는 회계주체가 소유하는 모든 자산과 그 자산에 대한 청구권을 빠짐없이 기록대상으로 삼으면서 언제라도 대차대조표 방정식의 균형이 이루어지도록 거래기록을 서로 연계시키는 조직적인 기록체계이다.
사개송도치부법은 고려의 개성상인들이 상업 활동을 하면서 이루어진 거래 및 대차 등을 기록한 복식부기이다. 복식부기의 기원이 베니스부기라는 부분에 대한 반론으로 베니스부기가 사개송도치부법에서 유래된 것이 아닐까하는 의문을 가지고 본 연구를 시작하였다. 그래서 우선 사개송도치부법과 복식부기에 대한 선행연구들을 고찰하고 이를 근거로 사개송도치부법이 복식부기의 기원임을 밝혔다. 그리고 정보화 사회에서 이 사개송도치부법을 이용한 전산처리를 하여 복식부기가 확실함을 증명하였다. 사개송도치부법의 회계 검증원리를 밝히고, 수학적 증명 원리를 살펴보았다. 사개송도치부법의 핵심기호는 입금/출금이다. 이 2개 기호로 모든 분개가 가능하다. 모든 대체거래 분개전표를 차변/대변이 아니라, 차변=출금, 대변=입금으로 입력 시험하면된다. 그리고 수학적 증명식에서 분개수식, 원장수식, 시산표수식, 대차대조표 수식 및 손익계산서 수식이 성립함으로서 사개송도치부법이 복식부기임을 밝혔다.
정보화 사회에 많이 사용하는 워크시트인 엑셀과 일반 회계 프로그램에 1개월 간 거래 자료를 입력하여 사개송도치부법이 복식부기임을 밝혀 보았다. 엑셀로 거래 자료를 입력 후 분개장, 원장, 회계책을 조회하여 본 결과 복식부기원리가 그대로 적용되었다. 그리고 태극회계프로그램에 회사를 등록한 후 일반 계정과 인명계정으로 입력을 한 후 분개장, 회계책및 현금출납장과 재무제표를 조회하여 본 결과복식부기임이 밝혀냈다. 본 연구는 사개송도치부법이 복식부기임을 증명하고 서양부기인 베니스부기보다 먼저 발생한 것임을 밝혀 잘못된 회계 역사를 바로잡는 계기가 되며 추후 이 분야 연구에 기초적인 자료를 제공하는데 큰 의의를 가진다.

영어초록

Accounting is a formalized and organized system to record the financial transactions. In other words, accounting is a service activity. Its function is to provide useful financial information about economic entities to interested parties, such as managers, investors, and creditors. Accounting can be divided as double entry system and single entry system. Double entry system is an organized recording system linking the transaction records so that the balance-sheet equation is always balanced. And double entry system includes all assets and all rights for assets owned by economic entities as recording objects.
Songdo accounting system is double entry system recording the transactions of merchants of Gyeosung in Korea dynasty. We started this study with doubts that the origin of double entry system is Venice of Italy and we think that the origin of double entry system is Songdo accounting system. First of all, we studied the preceded researches about Songdo accounting system and double entry system and on these bases we made a certain that Songdo accounting system is the origin of double entry book-keeping system. And we verified that Songdo accounting system is double entry system with computing process using the Songdo accounting system.
We made a certain the principles of verification and mathematical proof of Songdo accounting system The core sign of Songdo accounting system is receipt and payment of money. All journalizings are possible with 2 signs of receipt and payment of money All transfer slips are journalized by in-puting debit side is payment and credit side is receipt of money not by journalizing debit side and credit side And in mathematical proofs, journalizing, posting to the ledger, trial balance equation, balance sheet equation and income statement equation are completed, therefore it was verified that Songdo accounnting system is double entry book-keeping system.
We showed that Songdo accounting system is double entry book-keeping system with putting 1 month transactions data in excel program and general accounting program After recording the data in excel program, the results of inquiring the journal, ledger and financial statements made a certain that double entry system pringciples were applied in Songdo accounting system. And after registrating the company and putting data in Taegeok accounting program with general account and person"s name account, we verified it"s double entry system with the results of journal, cash receipt and payment book, and financial statements. This study aimed to correct and provide the data of the mis-leading accounting history that Venice accounting(Western accounting) system is the first double entry book-keeping system in the world with the verification that Songdo accounting system is double entry book-keeping system and also Songdo accounting system is preceded the Venice accounting system.
