청소년의 생활스트레스와 자살사고의 관계에서 온라인과 오프라인 사회적 지지의 조절효과

초록

본 연구는 청소년의 생활스트레스와 자살사고의 관계에서 오프라인 및 온라인에서 아버지, 어머니, 친구
사회적 지지의 조절효과를 확인해 보고자 하였다. 이를 검증하기 위하여 경기도 지역의 6개 고등학교 청소
년 198명의 자료를 사용하여, 상관관계 분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째,
생활스트레스의 하위요인들과 자살사고는 정적상관을 보였고, 오프라인 및 온라인에서 아버지, 어머니, 친
구의 사회적 지지는 자살사고와 유의미한 부적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 학교생활스트레스와 자살사고의 관계
에서 오프라인 친구 사회적 지지의 조절효과가 유의하였으며, 가정생활스트레스와 자살사고의 관계에서 오
프라인 아버지, 친구 사회적 지지의 조절효과가 유의하였고, 대인관계스트레스와 자살사고의 관계에서 오
프라인 아버지, 어머니, 친구 사회적 지지의 조절효과가 유의하였다. 반면 자아영역스트레스와 자살사고의
관계에서 오프라인 사회적 지지의 조절효과가 모두 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학교생활스트레
스와 자살사고의 관계에서 온라인 친구 사회적 지지의 조절효과가 유의하였고, 가정생활스트레스와 자살사
고의 관계에서 온라인 아버지, 어머니, 친구 사회적 지지의 조절효과가 유의하였으며, 대인관계스트레스와
자살사고의 관계에서 온라인 어머니, 친구 사회적 지지의 조절효과가 유의하였고, 자아영역스트레스와 자
살사고의 관계에서 온라인 아버지, 어머니, 친구 사회적 지지의 조절효과가 모두 유의하였다. 이러한 연구
결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 청소년 자살예방을 위한 시사점을 논의하였다.

영어초록

This study examined the moderating effects of offline and online social support from father/mother/friend
between life stress and suicidal ideation. The subjects for this study were 198 high school students in Gyeong-gi
Do. The data was conducted by using the correlations analysis and the hierarchical multiple regression analysis.
The results of this study were follows: First, the relationship between sub-factors of life stress and suicidal
ideation is positively. The relationship between offline and online social support from father/mother/friend and
suicidal ideation is positively. Second, on the relationship between school life stress and suicidal ideation, the
moderating effects of offline social support from friend were significant respectively. On the relationship between
family life stress and suicidal ideation, the moderating effects of offline social support from father/friend were
significant respectively. On the relationship between interpersonal stress and suicidal ideation, the moderating
effects of offline social support from father/mother/friend were significant respectively. But, on the relationship
between self areas stress and suicidal ideation, the moderating effects of offline social support from
father/mother/friend were not significant respectively. Third, on the relationship between school life stress and
suicidal ideation, the moderating effects of online social support from friend were significant respectively. On the
relationship between family life stress and suicidal ideation, the moderating effects of online social support from
father/mother/friend were significant respectively. On the relationship between interpersonal stress and suicidal
ideation, the moderating effects of online social support from mother/friend were significant respectively. On the
relationship between self areas stress and suicidal ideation, the moderating effects of online social support
from father/mother/friend were significant respectively. In other words, offline and online social support from
father/mother/friend was identified as protective factors of suicidal ideation. Based on these results, the value of
this study and implications for counseling were discussed.
