1. Executive Summary
The STMicroelectronics Company is the world’s largest semiconductor companies. It is accommodating the semiconductor solutions that support our customers cultivate quality of life for every person today and in the future. Materials Requirements planning construct brief material plan for the end products in the Manufacturing Planning and Control, generating a set of component parts and materials. MPC System is compared with planning and controlling all points of manufacturing, including managing product, scheduling etc. In this assignment first of all we have given the brief introduction about MRP, MPC and STMicroelectronics. Then brief literature review of the ‘world-wide’ state of knowledge in this area. In later parts we have explained about MRP system audits, Information and Communication system. At last we have provide some Recommendation and Business benefits and then we have given the summary of our assignment
