초록

사회적 일탈행위로서의 비행이란 넓은 의미에서의 모든 반사회적 행위를 포항하는 개념이지만 좁은 의미로는 청소년의 비행으로 국한시키는 것이 보통이다. 즉, 청소년 비행이란 성인들에 의해 수행되었다연 범죄가 구성되는 것으로 청소년들에 의한 반사회적 행동양상을 의미한다 우리나라의 경우 소년의 비행범위를 성인의 범죄로부터 분리하여 취급하고자 청소년 비행의 개념을 설정하고 있으며, 소년법에서는 이를 범죄소년, 우범소년 및 촉법소년으로 구분하고 있다. 이외에도 소년 경찰의 보호대상에는 불량행위소년과 요보호소년까지 포함되어 있다.
이러한 비행이나 범죄의 원인에는 여러가지 이론이 대두되고 있다. 즉, 유전적 원인, 심리적 결함, 정신적 질환, 가정환경의 문제, 문화갈등 및 매스컴, 지역적 조건, 교육환경 등 다양한 원인론들이 이론적 연구를 통해 제시되고 있다. 특히, 청소년의 문제를 청소년 개인적 조건으로 설명하려는 이른바 고전적 이론에서 벗어나 사회적, 시대적 조건 함수라는 설명이 최근에 강하게 대두되어 청소년 비행에 대한 관점이 달라지고 있다. 그런 가운데서도, 범죄행위와 비행에는 심리적·정신적인 작용과 밀접한 관계가 있다는 점에서 이들의 심리문제에도 깊은 관심을 가져 왔다.

영어초록

The present study was to explore the group differences between the violent delinquents vs. the property delinquents utilizing HTP. In order to pursue this purpose. the present study employed 208 juvenile delinquencies (the property crimìnals. 108 violent criminals. 100). The
criteria employed by the present study were based on Buck's (1948) HTP. and Marzolf & Kirchner (1970).
The major findings of the present study were as follows : First. there were ten items dìfferentiatìng groups based on HTP. More specifically. property criminals were higher in the following items : ① the location of the house in the left side. ② round shape of the tree. ③ small size of the person. ④ inactivity posture of the person. and ⑤ childish expression of the person.
On the other hand violent crimials were higher in the following items : ① the locatìon of the house in the center. ② the existence of the mouth of the person. ③ inclusion of the horizontal line beneath the house. ④ the existence of the root of the tree. ⑤ more than two male characteristics.
Second. based on the above results. the characteristics of the person seem to be the most important aspect of the criteria to differentìate the groups there were five items from the person. whereas there were only three and two items from house and tree respectively. Thus, the present findings imply that the characteristics of the person could be useful criteria to distinguish the violent groups from the property one.
Third. based on HTP analysis. each group seems to be characterized by the following patterns in terms of personalities. Property criminals have tendencies towards introversion and past-oriented. more frequent verbal conf1icts in interpersonal interaction. more wary attitudes towards others less honesty. lower self-esteem with higher complex and helplessness, more rigid personality and more immature and regression.
On the other hand. the violent criminals are characterized by the following tendencies more stubborn and ego-centric. more emotionally unstable and higher needs to be secure more barriers to reality-testing, and more manly and/or sexual curiosity.
The limitations of the present study are the small size of the sample together with the more descriptive nature of the analysis in part due to the limitations of the HTP. Thus, more sophisticated analysis with the larger number of the sample is needed in the future study.
