초록

아동기는 삶의 기본생활 습관이 형성되는 매우 중요한 시기이다. 이 기본 생활 습관은 아동들이 여러 환경에 적응해 가는 과정에서 습득되는 것으로 한 번 습관으로 익혀지면 쉽게 고쳐지지 않는 특성을 가지고 있다. 따라서 바람직한 아동기의 인성교육은 우리 사회에서 필요로 하는 건강하고도 훌륭한 사회인을 양성하는 기초가 될 수 있다. 따라서 인성 교육을 통하여 학교에서는 사회와 고립되어 자신만의 세계에 빠져 생활하는 지식인을 양성하는 것이 아니라 타인을 배려하고 사회와 어울릴 수 있는 도덕적 윤리적 인격을 지닌 지성인을 배출할 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위해 여러 교육적 기재가 동원되고 있으나 그 교육적 효능에 대한 자료는 미미한 실정이다.

영어초록
