Opportunity: Lyft has yet to expand in the European or Asian markets. All of the market share generated thus far has been from US and Canadian business. Accordingly, the business models of multi-national companies (MNCs) in different countries have been diversified and complicated. As mentioned through Wood et al., a business that considers localization and global standardization are required from a simple business model in which companies export goods (Wood et al., 2017pat employees and their families by seminars about understanding cultural differences with returning managers as mentors (Mendenhall & Stahl, 2000).Expatriates could have strong opportunities for learning new cultures and perspectives in terms of career advancement. MNCs recognize the development of expatriates' experience as a company's asset and reflect it into the design of performance management. Cho et al. (2013) report that Korean expatriates consider their experience and knowledge to be positive for career adjustment upon returning home. In addition, when returning to headquarters, MNC’s headquarters offer them with a suitable job role. (Cho et al., 2013). The performance management programs that take into account career advancement provide an opportunity to make the expat workers more responsive and effective.Lastly, designing performance management for expatriates consider family and spouse issue when expatriates come back from overseas. Repatriates take time to adjust to homehe failure of the performance evaluation of expat workers in China. This study consequently explained that MNCs have to modify their appraisal methods to reflect China's region and practices (Kang & Shen, 2016). In terms of appraisal criteria, Kang & Shen suggest two ways of criteria; hard and soft goals. Evaluating employees’ ability to achieve a specific goal is a hard goal appraisal and assessing employees’ relationships and communication is a soft goal appraisal (Kang & Shen, 2016). The appraisal of expatriates should be taken heavier rate on the soft purpose assessment according to cultural context. It is because the work involves adaptation of the expatriates in different cultures and establishment the relationship with different ethnic group.Unfortunately, there may be issues with the fairness of appraisal procedures and methods. According to Kang and Shen, the situational nature of expatriates requires knowledgeable supervisors about the situation of expatriates (Kang & Shen, 2education (Young, 1973). Many Western MNCs subsidize various insurances in addition to the basic medical insurance required at each site. House rentals are also provided to help the expatriate stay free. If a contract is not possible under the name of a foreign company, such as Indonesia, MNCs support to rent a house under the name of a representative. Some MNCs also offer dormitories to help with house rentals (Young, 1973). Education for expatriate children is one of the most expensive areas. Many MNCs, by policy, recommend pre-university education in their mother tongue and support them to return to their home countries to complete university courses. Some US companies decide on a co-payment of education with their parents, and in the case of Sony-Ericsson, they fully cover the cost of educating their children.These compensations provide psychological and practical satisfaction for expatriates and increase overseas business continuity.SuggestionsAs a manager who is studying MBA in Cd management system will be the key to MNCs' overseas business success.ReferencesChinchilla Albiol, M.
