Introduction
Our lives are immersed in technology. In today’s world, technology advances rapidly. These advances can make our lives easier and safer. For example, the advancements in the technology of computers have made it easier for people to gather information.
One of these technologies is biometrics. The term biometrics has been used to refer to the emerging field of technology. According to The Journal of Government Financial, “Biometrics is the automated use of a person’s unique physiological or behavior characteristics to determine or verify his or her identity.” Therefore, biometrics is a very important topic, because it has the potential to create better security for certain places that need to be secure.
This security is particularly important today. After the events of September 11th, biometrics is emerging as a way to tighten up security, not only in the United States, but also in other countries. Therefore, since September 11th, protection [of] and determination of personal information has become an important and a critical issue that affects everyone throughout the world
