1. Opening Statement
In these days FTA(Free Trade Agreement) is the most important and significant in Korea. This debate contains the exclusive rights of surgery skill. Many people oppose this issue. On the other hand, there is one more issue we think about, which is exclusive rights of medicine. Many pharmaceutical companies want to take their profit from the medicine, and this is natual. They spent a lot of time and money to make medicine. We we focus on their ethnic duty and their rights. Thank you.

2. Our point on topic
1) We are not talking on exclusive rights of surgery skill. The point of view of this debate is exclusive rights of medicine.
2) We have to guarantee profit of pharmaceutical companies.
3) Many pharmaceutical companies are trying to act resonable. Also, business decisions take account of ethical, social and environmental concerns. Whatever its reason is, they satisfy their social duty to help poor people.
For example, one of the pharmaceutical companies, the name is GlaxoSmithKline said that "We are committed to playing a full part by taking an innovative, responsible and, above all, sustainable approach to meeting the healthcare challenges of the developing world."

4) They spent much money to develop a new medicine.

3. Closing Statement

As we said previously, it is natural to assert their right on medicine. Of course, there are many problem on this policy. However, we should focus on their profit. If we don`t they won`t take effort to develop a new medicine. If we let them take appropriate price on the medicine, and let them do their social duty to help other people, we can get a new medicine, and satisfy the ethnic request.
