John F. Kennedy, the 35th U.S. president, was famous for a grand and eloquent speech. In his inauguration in 1961, his address is remembered as the greatest one. It made people encouraged and it reflected the American society at that time well. Because American economy was grown up largely after the victory of World War 2, it reflected American affluent society well. However, the confrontation between U.S. and Soviet was so severe that it reflected the Cold War situation more than affluent society at that time.
Things John F. Kennedy, the symbol of liberalism, attached a great importance are the dignity of human and freedom. Let us think extensively that the Cold War was not only the confrontation between U.S. and Soviet but also between liberalism and opposite positions. Then the freedom he cried for during his speech could be thought as his firm attitude against the Cold War. It is undeniable that the attitude he would be lavish on the weak and the new was with intent to grow oppositions to Soviet as well as intent to increase the dignity of human.
