“O’zapft is! (It’s tapped!)” This is the vibrant Austro-Bavarian dialect you can hear at 12:00 in Munich, Bavaria, in Germany with 12 gun salute, as a prelude of the largest beer festival in the world called “Oktoberfest.” Can you imagine 6.5 million people gulping down 3 million liters of beer only in 16 days in one centralized place? (Dorsh) It is absolutely hard to believe but this happens at Oktoberfest, which is held for 16 days from the end of September and lasts until the first Sunday of October every year and three millions liters of beer are consumed there. Munich is the exact place where people who mourn for the last part of summer festivals visit to enjoy beer and German traditional culture.
