With the development of information technology, various new inventions have been dramatically created. As a fashion in the modern society, mobile phones are not the exception. Thanks to the improvement of people’s living standard, nowadays majority of the people own mobile phones, whatever men or women, the aged or the youth. Using mobile phone becomes a tendency to catch up with the newest technology. However, every coin has two sides, the appearance of the mobile phone has brought some controversial problems among the public. Although mobile phones have many merits to mankind, the negative aspects are also apparent and some undesirable side-effects have gradually come to the surface. Therefore, the most important thing people have to face is that what can be done to make mobile phones as advantageous as possible for today’s society. This essay will talk about background, advantages, disadvantages of mobile phones and some possible ways to overcome the negative effects on people’s daily lives.
