변화하는 시대, 관계와 삶을 재구성하다
현대 한국 사회는 이성 관계, 결혼, 출산이라는 인간 삶의 가장 근원적인 영역에서 거대한 구조적 변동을 겪고 있다. 급격히 상승하는 초혼 연령과 지속적으로 감소하는 혼인 건수는 더 이상 일시적 현상이 아닌, 전통적 결혼 규범의 해체이자 거스를 수 없는 시대적 흐름으로 인식된다. 이러한 변화의 중심에는 과거 보편적 생애 과정으로 여겨졌던 경로를 따르기보다, 개인의 가치와 행복을 기준으로 새로운 삶의 양식을 모색하려는 주체들의 등장이 자리하고 있다. 특히 저출산 현상은 국가적 위기로 호명되며 수많은 담론을 양산하고 있지만, 정작 출산의 주체인 여성의 목소리와 경험은 그 논의의 중심에서 배제되곤 했다.
본 보고서는 이러한 시대적 배경 속에서 한 개인으로서 ‘나’의 미래를 주체적으로 설계하기 위한 학술적 성찰의 결과물이다. 이성관, 결혼, 출산의 문제를 단순히 개인의 사적인 선택으로 치부하거나 사회 문제에 대한 단편적인 대응으로 접근하는 것을 지양한다. 대신, 간호학의 핵심 가치인 ‘전인적 건강(holistic health)’ 개념과 여성학의 비판적 분석틀인 ‘젠더 관점’을 두 개의 축으로 삼아, 이 세 가지 주제를 상호 유기적으로 연결된 통합적 과제로 분석하고자 한다. 전인적 건강이 신체적, 정신적, 사회적, 영적 안녕의 총체적 상태를 의미하듯, 나의 미래 설계 역시 관계의 질, 사회적 조건, 개인의 내면적 성숙을 모두 아우르는 과정이어야 한다.
