    1. Asthma란?
    1) 임상적 정의: reversible airway obstruction
    2) 병태생리적 정의: +airway hyperresponsiveness(기도 반응성 증가)
    3) 병리학적 정의: +chronic inflammation of airway
    ->여러 종류의 자극에 의한 tracheobronchial tree(기관지 분지)의 반응성이 증가되어 전 기도의 wide spread narrowing으로 인하여 발작성 cough, dyspnea, wheezing의 증상을 보이는 질환

    2. 역학
    1) 성인의 10-12%, 소아의 15%
    2) 소아에서 남 : 여 = 2 : 1, 30대에서는 남녀 성비가 같다.
    3) 1/2에서 10세 이전에 발생
    4) serum IgE ↑

    3. Asthma 종류
    3) 아스피린 유발 천식
    (1) aspirin에 의해 cyclooxygenase가 억제->상대적 5-lipooxygenase활성
    ->leukotriene생성증가
    (2) NSAIDs중에서 aspirin과 cross reactivity ->금기
    : indomethacin, fenoprofen, naproxen, zomepirac sodium, ibuprofen, mefenamic acid
    phenylbutazone
    (3) 꼭 써야 할 때는 anti-leukotriene을 같이 사용
    (4) 진단- lysin-ASA이용한 흡입유발검사
    (5) 치료- 대체 약물로 교체
    : acetaminophen, sodium salicylate, choline salicylate, salicylamide, propoxyphene, COX2 inhibitor(celecoxib, rofecoxib), narcotics(codeine)
    4) 직업성 천식
    (1) 정의- 직업상 노출되는 allergen에 의해 유발되는 천식
    (2) 원인
    ① TDI(toluene di-isocyanate, 폴리우레탄 포함 제조 공장, 도장공)
