    본문내용

    - Scrubbing
    1) 목적
    ① 손, 손톱, 팔에 있는 먼지와 기름 등의 이물질을 일시적으로 제거
    ② 손, 손톱, 팔에 상주성 미생물을 물리적, 화학적, 기계적 방법으로 제거
    ③ 손과 팔에 있는 미생물의 바른 성장을 방해
    2) 방법
    ① 손과 팔의 장신구를 제거하고 수술실에 사용하는 모자, 마스크를 착용한다.
    ② 손끝을 팔꿈치보다 높게 하여 물이 손에서 팔 쪽으로 흐르게 하면서 손과 팔꿈치 위 5cm까지 물로 적신다.
    ③ 무릎으로 소독액을 조절하여 소독액을 스크럽 솔에 묻힌다.
    ④ 흐르는 물에 손을 씻는다.
    ⑤ 소독된 스크럽 솔을 수직으로 한 뒤 손톱, 손가락 사이사이, 손 앞, 손 뒤, 팔꿈치 순으로 닦으며 팔꿈치 위 5cm까지 전체적으로 문지르며 닦는다. (각 손톱은 30번, 손과 팔의 모든 피부면은 20번씩 솔로 문지름)
    ⑥ 흐르는 물에 충분히 헹군다.
    ⑦ 손을 씻은 후 무릎을 이용해 물을 잠근다.
    ⑧ 손끝을 계속 위로 올린 뒤 수술방 안으로 들어가 멸균된 수건을 집어 손끝부터 팔꿈치를 향해서 물기를 닦는다.
    ⑨ 반대편 손을 닦을 때에는 수건의 반대쪽 면을 이용해서 닦고 사용한 수건은 밑에 놔둔다.
    3) 주의점
    ①장신구는 미생물의 은신처가 되기 때문에 손을 씻기 전에 모든 장신구를 제거한다.
    ② 인조 손톱과 자연 손톱 사이에는 그람 음성균과 곰팡이가 증식할 수 있기 때문에 인조 손톱을 붙이면 안 된다.
    ③ 베인 상처나 찰과상과 같은 피부의 개방성 상처는 수술 대상자와 수술실 직원의 감염 위험성을 높인다.
