    <1> Intubation

    1. 정의
    - 환자의 입이나 코를 통하여 기관 삽관 튜브를 삽입하여, 성대 사이의 후두를
    통해서 기관에 삽입되는 방법

    2. 목적
    1) 기도의 개방성 유지
    2) 흡인(aspiration)방지
    3) 분비물 제거 용이
    4) 양압적 인공호흡을 시작할 수 있음
    5) 산소화(Oxygenation)와 환기(Ventilation)가 용이
    6) 응급 투약의 경로가 됨. (Lidocaine, epinephrine, atropine, naloxone)

    3. 적응증
    1) 부종, 외상, 종양, 출혈로 인한 이차적인 상기도 폐쇄
    2) 무호흡
    3) 분비물 제거가 비효율적인 경우
    4) 흡인의 위험이 높은 경우
    5) 호흡 부전(respiratory distress)
    6) 기계적 환기가 요구되는 경우
    7) 전신마취를 요하는 경우

    4. Intubation 시 준비물품
    1) Intubation set
    (1) Laryngoscope-curve, straight blade, Endotracheal tube, stylet,
    Ambu bag, Ambu mask, O2 One way prong, Airway, 10cc syringe,
    멸균 glove, Suction Unit, Suction catheter, 청진기, EMMA, ACE blade, MC grath, ENDO fix, closed suction, 크린조, margyl forcep, T-piece
    (2) laryngoscope-curve, straight blade
    : Intubation 시 성문을 노출시키기 위해 사용되는데 금속성으로 만들어져
    있으며 손잡이와 Blade, Light로 구성된다. Blade로 혀를 왼쪽으로 젖히
    면서 오른쪽으로 tube가 통과할 수 있도록 해준다.
