Introduction
In March 2016, there was a Go match between AI computer program developed by Google DeepMind, Alpha Go, and the world best Go player, Lee Sedol (Borowiec, 2016). Before the match, AlphaGo had already studied the number of over 30 million cases from 160,000 games (Google, 2016). As a result, AlphaGo won over Lee Sedol in a four to one overall score
The answer to the question of what is more important when comparing data and technology is data. Likewise, even though the technologies and knowledges applied to AlphaGo are important and worthy of praise, there is more important factor, which is the enormous amount of data that AlphaGo studied. In other words, if there had not been data that AlphaGo should be learned, then the meaning of algorithms or techniques that implemented into the AlphaGo would have disappeared
