“FDI(Foreign Direct Investment) in its classic definition, is defined as a company from one country making a physical investment into building a factory in another country.” But, its definition can be extended to include investments made to acquire lasting interest in enterprises operating outside of the economy of the investor.
Nowadays, World have been become none-barrier place, then all countries could do their business without restriction in other countries.
There are many factors showing globalized economy. And FDI is the one factor explaining this situation.
FDI have contributed Latin America, Mexico and Asia to overcome financial crisis during the Lack of foreign currency and to make that countries economy stable. Also, as they have more profitable condition compared with other type of capital flow, volume of FDI to developing countries have been increased.
Since FDI have not just advantage factor of capital or facilities but also factor which could improve the likelihoods of country’s competitiveness, using the capital from other countries would give the developing countries many benefits. So competition for FDI becomes more difficult and intensive. For this reason I think that it is necessary to study FDI and environment for getting foreign capita. So in this paper, I would study environment (especially legal system, political system, economy system) of the three countries, Thailand, South Africa and Ukraine.
