In the year of 2010, Congress passed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) in order to solve the problem regarding a lack of health insurance plans for many Americans. In 2014, Americans will fully receive the benefits from this Act. Thus, the United States (U.S.) is fervently working to provide an effective universal health care system for its citizens (Bihari, 2010). Currently, having health insurance plans does not automatically guarantee one high quality access to health care. Compared to many countries, which have universal health care programs, America is currently far behind in regards to its overall quality of health care distribution.
