Comparing with the past, currently, in the 21st century, the main issue is about Official Development Assistance (ODA). ODA is explaining about the flow of financial resources from donor countries to the recipient countries. This means that more countries are now trying to support the recipient countries that are having difficulty in their current situation. The main goal for the ODA is to fulfill the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). SDG are the new goals set after the Millennium development Goals (MDG) which the goals are focusing on ending poverty, protect the environment and ensuring prosperity. As a result, in order to fulfill the SDG, there is various aid agencies that have been carried out by national (ex. Korea-KOICA), International (ex. United Nations) and nongovernment organizations (ex. World Vision International). Out of those many different organizations, this report will be only focusing on the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and African Development Bank (AfDB).
