1- INTRODUCTION

“Responsibility for social impacts is a management responsibility, not because it is a social responsibility, but because it is a business responsibility. The ideal is to make elimination of such an impact into a business opportunity. But whenever that cannot be done, the design of appropriate regulation with the optimal trade-off, and public discussion of the problem and promotion of the best regulatory solution, is management’s job.” (Peter Drucker)

5.2- The Highlights of Movement in E.U.
The European Parliament, in an effort for the more efficient supervision of the European financial markets, has been planning for the foundation of a systemic risk board and specific supervisory agencies for the banking, insurance and financial industries. While the risk board will be concerned with the overall stability of the financial system, the supervisory agencies will focus on particular sectors.
