2. Where and under what circumstances was Walker born?
Walker was born in Eatonton, Georgia, the youngest of eight children, to Willie Lee Walker and Minnie Lou Tallulah Grant. Even though her parents earned not enough money, they were enthusiastic in terms of educating Walker in school. When she was young, she lost one of her eyes by his brother’s BB gun shot. This accident changed her personality from out-going to shy and this is worst event in her childhood.
