Abiotic stresses such as drought, salinity, extreme temperature, chemical toxicity, and oxidative stress are serious threats to agriculture, and result in the deterioration of the environment. Abiotic stress reduces average yields for most major crop plants by more than 50%. This experiment is observation of abiotic stress effective to plants. We measure the value and the Non-photochemical quenching(NPQ) value Photochemical Efficiency Anlayzer and FluoroCam. We select wild type of rice leaf and Stn8 mutant of rice leaf. And we give leaf abiotic stress of High light and Salt for 2 hours. We can see the decrease of value and NQP value. And in Snt8 mutant, the decrease of value and NPQ value is mere than value and NPQ value of wild tpye. So we can know that Stn8 mutant is related to defence process from stress in plants.

Phothsynthesis
"putting together", "composition") is a process that converts carbon dioxide into organic compounds, especially sugars, using the energy from sunlight.
Photosynthesis is the process by which plants, some bacteria, and some protistans use the energy from sunlight to produce sugar, which cellular respiration converts into ATP, the "fuel" used by all living things. The conversion of unusable sunlight energy into usable chemical energy, is associated with the actions of the green pigment chlorophyll. Most of the time, the photosynthetic process uses water and releases the oxygen that we absolutely must have to stay alive.
