These days, as far as the way people get information is concerned, people started to ponder whether watching television is more helpful than by reading to learn something. I believe that learning by watching television is more beneficial than by reading materials. The rationale behind this is that televisions provide visual and sound materials and television updates current information quickly.

Offering vivid images and sounds is one of the major reasons why I think television is more necessary when getting information. Some people might argue than people can more in-depth knowledge by reading books because books present detailed




Besides, there is another reason which must be taken into account, which is television programs or news can help to explain current events or information since they can be easily and quickly updated. In today`s society, people can a tremendous amount of information from various sources such as television programs, books, or newspapers. However, the problem with this is that most of the information is outdated, not promptly undated, including books. Once books are published, the new information or findings cannot be added to books or old information cannot be eliminated from the original copy of books. On the other hand, television programs can be broadcast in real time, which helps viewers to learn about recent information and the ongoing developments of those stories. For example, in the morning, we watch television programs to get information about the weather. The television weather
